DUSHANBE, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- China and Kazakhstan on Friday vowed to beef up economic cooperation by jointly implementing the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative.
China dispatched about 1,000 medical workers to the Ebola-stricken region and provided them with relief materials worth 750 million yuan (122.3 million U.S. dollars).
Speaking highly of the relations between the two countries, Valls said Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to France in March this year is of great significance for promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership and deepening pragmatic cooperation between France and China.
During the visit, leaders of the two countries will adopt the China-South Africa 5-10 Year Framework on Cooperation that will further entrench the implementation of agreements entered into since the conclusion of the Beijing Declaration in 2010 and expand on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, Nkoana-Mashabane said.
Terming it a unique initiative that can bring the three neighbors closer together, Hussain said it is the important time and opportunity to bring forward specific policy recommendations for peace and security, regional economic cooperation and combating terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking.
