Apple is recalling 814,000 wall adapters because they can break and pose an electric shock risk.The recall involves three-prong AC wall adapters included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit. The kits contain three-prong and two-prong AC wall plug adapters that fit different electrical outlets worldwide.The recalled adapters were made for use primarily in the United Kingdom, Singapore and Hong Kong and were also sold with Mac computers and iOS devices. They were sold online and in electronic stores nationwide from January 2003 through January 2015.The recalled three-prong AC wall plug adapters are white with no letters on the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter. BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is on the scene of a shooting at the Valley Plaza Mall.Bakersfield Police confirmed that there are two victims of the shooting. Officials said the victims survived the initial shooting but their conditions are unknown.The two victims, ages 15 and 20, are not in life-threatening condition. An Ohio TV meteorologist was arrested Thursday and charged with possessing child porn.Mike Davis, 60, has been a meteorologist at WBNS 10TV for more than 30 years.Davis is accused of possessing what authorities describe as a significant number of child pornography images, but they did not give a specific number. Authorities allege he also sent such images to other people.“He has been charged with pandering sexual oriented material, second-degree felony,” said Sheriff Dallas Baldwin in a press conference. “Currently housed at the main jail.
