SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are investigating following a deadly hit-and-run in Clairemont Wednesday night. According to police, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on the 5500 block of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard. Police say a 44-year-old man was found dead on the eastbound lanes of traffic. They say he was struck by a car, which fled the scene. Then the man was hit by two other vehicles as he was lying on the road. Both also fled the scene.Clairemont Mesa Boulevard near Dubois Street was closed for several hours during the investigation. 563

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police officers on Friday were working to get a suspect to surrender after a reported shooting.Police say a shooting between the two vehicles occurred just before 2:30 p.m. in the 9800 block of Scripps Westview Way in Scripps Ranch. No one was injured in the shooting.The person who was shot at told police he knew where the suspect lived and officers responded to an apartment complex at 9700 Scripps Westview Way.Officers were trying to get the suspect to come out as of 3:15 p.m.10News is following this breaking news. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police are investigating Tuesday the report of a woman's body found in the water at Bonita Cove in Mission Bay.A person walking on the beach found the remains of the woman about 10:20 a.m., San Diego Police Lt. Chris Sharp said.There was no indication of foul play but there were injuries to the body, said Lt. Sharp.The Medical Examiner will try to identify the victim and conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.Bonita Cove is a busy area of Mission Bay. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego County is suspending enforcement of restaurant closures following a Wednesday court ruling.Superior Court Judge Joel R. Wohlfeil issued an injunction prohibiting a cease-and-desist order from being enforced on strip clubs and "San Diego County businesses with restaurant service.” At a hearing on Thursday, Wohlfeil said his ruling encompasses all restaurants, not just strip clubs.In November, the county fell into the state’s purple tier, forcing eateries to cease indoor operations.
