DENVER — Convicted murderer Chris Watts has been moved from a Colorado prison to another prison out of state.Four sources confirm to KMGH's Jace Larson that Chris Watts was transferred from the Denver Reception and Diagnostic Center, where a new prison inmate goes after conviction, to an undisclosed facility out of state. Victims’ families -- who requested to be alerted -- have been notified, two of the four sources with knowledge of the movement told KMGH. Watts' current location has not been identified, except to victims' families, the source said.Watts pleaded guilty last month to killing his pregnant wife Shanann Watts and their two young daughters at their home in Frederick, Colorado in August. Death row inmate, 61-year-old David Earl Miller will be executed tonight by the electric chair at 7 p.m. tonight.Miller is the second Tennessee death row inmate in just over a month to choose to die by the electric chair. His attorneys argued that the state's lethal injection method causes a prolonged and torturous death.Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam declined Miller's clemency application, in which his attorney claimed Miller had been suffering from “severe mental illness” at the time of his crime, and that his mental state places him “far outside that group of offenders who are the worst and for whom the death penalty is reserved.”Miller is also asking the U.S. Supreme Court to issue a stay of execution to address two separate legal issues. The high court declined to issue stays for either of the two other inmates executed this year.The inmate was moved to death watch Wednesday and served his requested last meal Thursday afternoon.Miller was convicted of killing 23-year-old Lee Standifer, who was mentally disabled, in Knoxville in 1981.A man Miller was living with found Standifer's body naked in the yard with her hands bound and roped wrapped around her body. DETROIT — Investigators raided Perry Funeral Home in Detroit late Friday afternoon and have removed nearly 63 infant remains, according to Detroit Police. Officers found 36 fetuses in cardboard boxes and 27 more in freezers. The conditions of the fetuses are unknown.The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) has revoked the funeral home's license and shut the facility down. 428

DEL MAR (KGTV)- The popular stairs that connect Torrey Pines State Beach to the reserve trails are being removed for repairs. Park maintenance crews will be barricading the stairs Monday evening. They will be completely removed Tuesday morning, before high tide. The stairs will be removed for repairs for four to six weeks. They plan to repair as much as they can and keep the original metal staircase. The stairs have been in place for ten years. Crews tell 10News about one million hikers use the stairs annually. With high foot traffic and the wear and tear from the salt water, the stairs need some preventative work. The trails will remain open while the stairs are removed. Hikers will only be able to access the trails from the reserve trailheads. 764

Denver Broncos starting running back Melvin Gordon was charged with a DUI and speeding of 25-39 mph over the limit Tuesday night in downtown Denver, according to court records.“We are aware of the situation involving Melvin Gordon. Our organization has been in communication with him and is in the process of gathering more details,” the team said in a statement on Wednesday.Gordon, 27, was cited at 5th Avenue and Speer Blvd., according to court records. Based on NFL precedent, he is facing a likely 2-to-3 game suspension.
