HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Henrico Police are working to identify a woman who allegedly punched a teenage McDonald's employee in the face after the employee failed to put ketchup on her sandwich.The alleged assault took place at the White Oak McDonald's in eastern Henrico County.The victim's mom said that the woman approached her daughter and instigated a fight after she did not put ketchup on the woman's sandwich."She asked my daughter if she had a problem, and my daughter said, 'No, I have no problem,'" the victim's mother said. Hawaiian authorities are urging sightseers to stay away as Leilani Estates residents return to check on their neighborhood, which is threatened by lava and toxic gases emerging from fissures in the subdivision.Big Island's Kilauea volcano erupted Thursday, spewing molten rock and high levels of sulfur dioxide.Cracks emerged in the volcano's East Rift Zone — an area of fissures miles away from the volcano's summit. All residents of Leilani Estates, a community of about 1,700 people near Big Island's eastern edge, and nearby Lanipuna Gardens were ordered to evacuate.The eruption was followed by a 6.9-magnitude earthquake Friday.As of Sunday, 10 fissures had opened and 26 homes had been destroyed. HARLEM, Manhattan — A 100-year-old woman in Harlem is serious about filling out the census. Heading to the streets with a bullhorn this week to celebrate her birthday, Katherine Nelms Nichson bellowed to her neighborhood to fill out the census.“Be counted in the census," she said at the corner of Lenox Avenue and 135th Street. "Come up off your butt."The deadline is weeks away. Officials around the country are worried the shortened timeline, impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak this year, will mean fewer responses than normal. Senator Brian Benjamin of Harlem said it’s not just on Nichson's birthday, but every day she's a political powerhouse.Julie Menin, the director of NYC Census 2020, said Nichson’s message is especially critical right now because New York City is facing an economic crisis.As of Friday, New York City had a response rate of 59.3 percent compared to the nationwide rate of 65.7 percent.The census is a survey required by the U.S. Constitution. It takes just 10 minutes to fill out and can be done online.Why is it so important? Its results are used to determine how much money municipalities gets from Washington for everything from housing to hospitals, roads, bridges, and schools. GASLAMP QUARTER (KGTV) - A benefit was held Sunday night for a local woman injured in a parasailing accident in Mexico. On June 9th, Katie Malone was in Puerto Vallarta to celebrate her 29th birthday when tragedy struck. According to a local newspaper, Malone was parasailing when the rope tethered to a boat somehow broke and left her flying through the air.Malone crash-landed at an airport and suffered a fractured skull, fractured pelvis, broken ribs, a collapsed lung and other injuries. Donations helped pay for her treatment and life flight from Mexico back to San Diego. She spent about a month in the hospital. For the past few months, Malone has been in physical therapy and working to get stronger everyday. She says she is a year ahead of schedule."When it first happened, I just wanted to move forward and not dwell on things," Malone said. "I would do physical therapy and in between physical therapy I would do homework they gave me to do."  Malone is extremely thankful to family and friends who have been there for her and helped her move forward.Sunday night's benefit was held at "Tin Roof" in the Gaslamp Quarter. The benefit was to raise money for Malone's medical bills.Malone said she might go parasailing again, but not anytime soon. 1315

In fact, they are the second-most terrifying bird behind turkeys (large, tenacious) and ahead of crows (eidetic, vengeful).So this momentous trio of photographs showing a Canada goose absolutely trucking a high school golfer near Blissfield, Michigan, is just a reminder of the natural order of things. You can have, as one Twitter user put it, a "quiver full of bird maulers" and a whole high school athlete's worth of physical power, but the goose is going to win every time. It's science.The unlucky human sacrifice here is Isaac Couling, a member of the Concord High School golf team. According to Blissfield Golf Coach Steve Babbitt, Couling, 16, was competing in the Madison Tournament at the World Creek Golf Course in Adrian, Michigan, when terror rained down."The group just finished teeing off on hole #7 and were walking down the fairway," Babbitt told CNN in an email. "They were aware of a goose nest on their left which they were looking at but not bothering when from behind them and to the right came the guard goose (protecting the nest)."Then came a rather alarming escalation, a whole Shakespearean tragedy in three acts. The Blissfield Athletics Twitter account explained that Couling was caught off guard by the charging bird as he was keeping an eye on another, probably equally threatening, goose.As Couling attempted to flee the chaos he tripped, allowing the goose a clear coup de grace.Said Blissfield Athletics on Twitter: "And you thought golf was boring?"Massive credit should be given to Devon Pitts of Blissfield, the photographer who caught this inspiring and terrifying moment of nature in action."You can say [she] was at the right place at the right time," Babbitt said.By all accounts, Couling is fine despite his close brush with wingèd evil."I did par that hole," he told the Detroit News.
