Incredible video captured by researchers at Florida Atlantic University captured the blacktip shark's annual migration off Florida’s southeast coast.FAU researchers refer to the blacktip shark's as the "snowbirds of the sea". The sharks migrate south during the cold months and head up north when the weather, and water, start to warm back up. They leave the north when water temperatures drop below 71 degrees Fahrenheit and start heading south.The video was taken by FAU researchers on February 27, right off MacArthur Park in Singer Island.“Last year, we saw a dramatic decline in the number of blacktip sharks that migrated south. In fact, it was so low that we estimated the population to be about one-third of what we have seen in previous years,” said Kajiura, a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and director of the Elasmobranch Research Laboratory in FAU’s Charles E. INDIANAPOLIS – A 10-year-old lion at the Indianapolis Zoo died Monday morning after being attacked by another lion.Zoo staff heard “unusual amount of roaring from the outdoor lion yard” and say an adult female lion, Zuri, attacking a male lion, Nyack, according to a press release.Veterinary staff said Nyack died of suffocation from injuries to the neck. Indianapolis Zoo said staff made every attempt to stop Zuri from holding Nyack by the neck but were unsuccessful. The two lions lived together for eight years. Indianapolis Zoo said they had no indication that anything like this would ever occur.The attack happened before the zoo was open to the public. "He was a magnificent male lion and left his legacy in his three cubs," Indianapolis Zoo said in a press release. "He will be missed by guests, members, volunteers and staff." 864

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis police are looking for a woman accused of shoplifting and throwing her own feces at an employee of an east side Menards.According to an incident report filed in the case, IMPD officers were dispatched to a Menards location around noon on Tuesday.Upon arrival, they spoke with the store’s loss prevention officer, who told them he’d spotted a woman take a video camera out of its box and place it into her open personal bag.When the loss prevention officer attempted to stop the woman from leaving the store, she “reached behind her and dug into her pants and pulled out a handful of feces and threw it at him, striking him on his chest.”The loss prevention officer said the woman then ran out of the door.Police said the stolen camera was eventually recovered, and investigators were able to recover surveillance video.
