SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police and Crime Stoppers released photos Wednesday in the search for the burglars responsible for taking half a million dollars’ worth of items during break-in at the Fashion Valley Hermes de Paris store.Up to 10 people got out of three vehicles at the north end of the mall about 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, January 18. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police officers were forced to abandon a pursuit Tuesday after learning a child was in the suspect's vehicle.The pursuit began after the suspect rear-ended an SDPD vehicle along 17th Street downtown around 1 p.m., according to police. The officer in the vehicle hit was fine.Police pursued the driver but terminated the pursuit after learning a child was in the car.SDPD ran the suspect's plates and found the vehicle was also stolen. During the pursuit, the suspect's vehicle collided with at least one other vehicle - losing the front right tire.No injuries were reported.The vehicle was abandoned in the 1300 block of Angelus Ave. in Lemon Grove. Police have yet to locate the suspect.The owner of the vehicle told 10News the car was stolen from Lakeside two days ago. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are investigating an attempted kidnapping after a man reportedly tried to grab a woman holding an infant in La Jolla Wednesday afternoon.Police say the woman was on the 5100 block of La Jolla Hermosa Avenue around 4:30 p.m. when a man walked by and grabbed her arm as she held a 1-year-old.The man then left the area on a bicycle that didn’t have any tires before ditching the bike and running away on foot.The woman, identified as the child’s nanny, received a scratch on her arm, but the baby is uninjured, police say.The suspect was arrested after running into the water and floating. Lifeguards helped police get the man out of the water. Police identified the suspect as 51-year-old Michael Hudson. Jail records show Hudson was booked on four counts, including felony kidnapping and battery.Hudson is being held on 0,000 bail. An Oct. 30 date has been scheduled for his arraignment. 935

Health officials add that 2.5% of all cases and 26% of hospitalized cases have been moved to the ICU.An additional six deaths due to COVID-19 were also reported, the county said.
