SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A man shot his wife and four sons at a Paradise Hills home Saturday, killing four, before taking his own life.Sunday morning, a GoFundMe set up by the victims' family identifies those killed as Sabrina, the mother, and her children, 3-year-old Enzi, 5-year-old Zuriel and 11-year-old Zeth. According to the page, 9-year-old Ezequiel is still in the hospital. The father was identified as Jose Valdivia, 31, according to City News Service. San Diego Police were called to the 2100 block of Flintridge Dr. just before 7 a.m. Police said the dispatcher could not communicate with the caller, but could hear an argument and someone being asked to leave in the background.Officers received another call en route to the home from a neighbor who said they heard arguing and what they believed to be a "nail gun firing." Police arrived and saw a young boy covered in blood inside the home. Three other boys, their mother, and their father were found inside with apparent gunshot wounds. A 3-year-old and the 29-year-old mother were pronounced dead at the scene, according to SDPD Lt. Matt Dobbs. The boys' 31-year-old father, believed to be the shooter, was also among the dead.A 5-year-old, 9-year-old, and 11-year-old were rushed to a nearby hospital. Two of those children have died and the other was taken into emergency surgery in critical condition, according to police.Officers had initially told media the 5-year-old and 9-year-old boys had died and the 11-year-old boy was in surgery, but said during Saturday's press conference they could not confirm which child was in critical condition.Police said the shooting was related to domestic violence and called it a "murder-suicide." A restraining order was filed Friday by the mother against the father, but isn't believe to have been served as of Saturday. Police said the father may have been aware of the order.Saturday morning, police said the father came to the residence and got into an argument with his wife, before using a handgun to shoot his family and then himself.The four boys and their mother lived on the property with several other relatives, police said. The father was not currently living at the property and the couple was going through some type of divorce process.Police confirmed officers were called to the property to break up an argument between the mother and father earlier this month, but no crime was committed."I just pray for that family," one neighbor said. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A man who led police on pursuit was arrested early Monday morning after spending 45 minutes on the roof of a Webster home.San Diego police officers attempted to stop a dark colored Kia shortly before 12:30 a.m. on 49th and Federal Blvd. after the driver was seen driving recklessly.The driver crashed into an embankment and pole on Marilou Road, and that's when police said the suspect jumped out and took off running.Police chased the man for several blocks, even jumping fences and running through backyards. The suspect then climb on top of a home, leaping across rooftops trying to get away, but was surrounded.The suspect sat on the rooftop on Brookline street and told officers he would not come down until they put their guns down.The suspect eventually surrendered 45 minutes later. Firefighters were called in to put a ladder up and help get him down.He's being evaluated for DUI and faces felony evading charges. 950

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A man who was convicted of robbing a Chula Vista bank and fleeing the scene on a Lime scooter was sentenced on Monday to nearly five years in prison.Mario Daniel Haro, a 32-year-old United States citizen who lived in Rosarito, Mexico, was sentenced to 57 months in prison and must pay restitution for robbing the Chase Bank at 2121 Olympic Parkway in October 2019.In February, Haro admitted to entering the bank, telling a bank teller he had a gun, and handing the teller a threatening note, reading “I have a GUN! Give me all money. NO INK Packages."The teller complied with Haro's demands, officials said, and gave him about ,000. Haro then fled the scene on a Lime electric scooter.“Unfortunately this defendant failed to take advantage of his second chance and committed an additional violent crime,” said U.S. Attorney Robert Brewer. “As this case demonstrates, individuals who reoffend will be investigated, arrested and convicted and usually the sentence will be longer. Hopefully this time the defendant learned a lesson.”The 2019 robbery was Haro's second conviction for bank robbery. He was also convicted of robbing a Chula Vista bank in 2008, officials added. 1200

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A man reportedly attacked by four teenagers near Petco Park died Monday morning, family members tell 10News. 56-year-old Edward Leon Starland died several weeks after being attacked and beaten on November 18 around 2 p.m. Several teenagers, including 19-year-old Dominick Wells and three juvenile females ages 14, 15 and 17 were all taken into custody on felony battery charges. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A new program promises to help San Diegans get high-paying tech jobs without the crippling student loan debt.It's through a partnership between the San Diego Workforce Partnership and UC San Diego Extension, offering students what's called an income share agreement (ISA). With the ISA, tuition is covered and students agree to pay a small proportion of their income for a set period of time after graduating.“If the program doesn’t work for you and you don’t get a high paying job, you pay nothing. If it works, you pay a small percentage of your income back into the fund. And that fund, you pay it forward to the next cohort of people coming behind you," said Andy Hall, Chief Operating Officer of the San Diego Workforce Partnership.RELATED: Realtors expect busy spring for buyers and sellersThe programs include front-end web development, Java programming, business intelligence, or digital marketing; each costs ,500.“The ranges are you pay nothing if you’re making under ,000, if you're making over that, you'll pay between 5 and 8 percent of your income, and then you'll never pay more than about 1.6 to 1.8 of what was initially financed for you," said Hall.The program is possible thanks to million in grant funding, with Strada Education Network providing an initial .2 million.
