After spending months in jail for violating probation, rapper Meek Mill could be released as soon as today after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered that he be granted bail.According to WTFX-TV in Philadelphia, the Supreme Court issued the order to the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia County to offer the rapper bail. ALPINE, Calif. (KGTV) - San Diego County Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman whose home caught fire in Alpine Monday morning. The flames started in a granny flat at the home at 3679 E. Victoria Drive, firefighters reported. At the time, winds were about 30 miles an hour with low humidity.Sheryl Ruiz, 36, was inside the granny flat and escaped without injury.Deputies said a search of the home led to the discovery of illegal drugs and a firearm, and arrested Ruiz.Lakeside and Viejas Fire crews are investigating the cause of the fire.  566

He attempted to do what others who have had the coronavirus have been asked to do and give plasma.It turns out he was rejected.Cohen is prohibited from giving plasma because he is gay. He was told that gay men are unable to give blood due to concerns over HIV infection, despite him being HIV negative."They said, 'You can't do it,'" Cohen said on Tuesday’s ABC "The View." "I was hurt. I just thought well this is crazy, technology has come so far.“They're worried about HIV in blood," he added. "But I'm HIV negative. And you can find that out, and then you can test my blood a couple of times before putting it into a system."The FDA recently slightly relaxed its ban on gay men giving blood or plasma, stipulating that men who have had sex with other men are eligible to donate after three months of abstinence.The FDA says that it is possible that convalescent plasma contains antibodies to the coronavirus and might be effective against the infection. Plasma can be collected from recovered individuals only if they are eligible to donate blood. 1142

AKRON, N.Y. – 2020 has been a bit of roller coaster and for some, there's been more downs than ups.Before the pandemic, a roller coaster is exactly where you could find Eric Hall and his family. One summer day in 2019, something was getting in the way of his ride.“The guy did everything he could to get me in,” recalled Hall. “Which was not only super humiliating and humbling, but obviously at the same time it was very eye opening for me because something that I love to do, especially with my family, now my weight and my health was restricting me from doing that.”Hall knew he needed to change. But changing takes time, time he didn't think he had.“Prior to the pandemic, I was kind of hoping for more work from home, that's not necessarily what I had in mind was this,” said Hall.With an opportunity to be more healthy. Hall jumped on it. He insists he's not a paid spokesperson, but he swears by the app Centr. It's Chris Hemsworth's fitness app.“It wasn't like these like gargantuan bulky bodybuilders,” added Hall. “It was real people.”Hall weighed 330 pounds at his heaviest. Now, he weighs 165. He believes more time at home helped make that transformation a reality.
