BEIJING, Nov.6 (Xinhua) -- Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will visit China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping from Nov.11 to 12.
As this year's East Asia leaders' meetings are to be held in Kuala Lumpur later this month, Xi said he is appreciative of Malaysia's contribution in promoting the strategic partnership between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and that China supports Malaysia's efforts in making the meetings a success.
"With global growth slowing down, China is working vigorously to overcome difficulties and meet challenges by strengthening macro regulation and effectively advancing reforms," said the Chinese president.
China has about 150,000 SOEs, which hold more than 100 trillion yuan (15.7 trillion U.S dollars) in assets and employ over 30 million people. However, they posted an 8.2-percent decline in profits in the first three quarters of this year.
According to the statement, China and Singapore would continue make full use of the existing inter-governmental cooperation mechanisms, such as the annual Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation, to guide and coordinate cooperation
