Guests will also be able to see areas of the ship normally closed to the public and sleep on "tween decks" out of the elements.RELATED: Several San Diego museums offering free admission to military families“The Family Overnight program is an immersive unforgettable life-changing experience where together the children and their parents discover and share the same fascination and passion for learning about the history of the sea," Jacob Keeton, Director of Education for the Maritime Museum, said. The overnight experience will be hosted on Saturday, June 22, at 2:30 p.m. until Sunday, June 23 at 9 a.m. Tickets are per person ages 5 and up, and include meals and accommodations. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Students at the Art Institute of California in San Diego say they feel betrayed by the institution after learning it's likely shutting down. They were notified Wednesday that if the school isn't squired by a buyer it will shut down on Friday, March 8.“We could see the cracks in the walls when a lot of the department heads were let go and they had one person running all the programs," said Tom Aleo, who studies game art and design. Aleo had just one quarter left before graduation. He says despite problems in the last year they were hoping for the best. "The emotions here are all over the place; shocked, confused, depressed," said Aleo. In July the Art Institute in Mission Valley stopped enrolling new students. And this week court documents revealed the company which operates the school, Argosy University, is accused of misusing millions of federal dollars.Students are frustrated they only got two days of warning that the school was closing, and are now scrambling to figure out their options. A tuition fair was held on Thursday on campus.10News reached out to the Art Institute and received this statement: 1147

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego’s City Council voted 6-3 Monday evening to approve a five-year lease extension for the Campland on the Bay campground. The city struck a deal with Campland to expand into De Anza Cove and remove the crumbling mobile home park. Earlier in the day Monday, competing rallies took place outside council chambers. The issue on the agenda Monday – the future of about 75 acres on the northwest portion of Mission Bay. Currently, it’s an RV Park next to a mobile home park crumbling with asbestos and warning signs keeping the public out. The operator of the RV park is terminating its lease later in June. Campland on the Bay has operated for 50 years just to the west. It’s offering to take over the lease for the RV park and add the mobile home park for five years. It would do ,000,000 of improvements, including getting rid of old homes. A group called the ReWild Mission Bay Coalition is fighting back. The coalition wants the city to pursue restoring the area to its natural habitat, fearing that entering into what’s supposed to be a temporary arrangement could end up becoming a long-tern solution. A staff member with the city told the council this won’t stop the city from pursuing future plans for De Anza Cove. 1257
