It's because of the large crowds and cooler temperatures that on Sunday, Cleveland National Forest Rangers closed all their campgrounds, day-use areas, and two of their most popular trails: Three Sisters Falls and Cedar Creek Falls. "When you're hiking the trails, they're very narrow, and with the number of people we had, they absolutely could not have any kind of social distancing," Mike Kobliska, Assistant Public Information Officer of the Cleveland National Forest, said. NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) -- The world's last male northern white rhino died Monday in Africa, putting the species closer to extinction.The rhino, named "Sudan" died of age-related complications. NATIONAL CITY (CNS) - Authorities Tuesday released the name of a man being sought on suspicion of fleeing the scene of a four-vehicle crash that killed another driver on Interstate 5 in National City last weekend.The crash on northbound I-5, south of Mile of Cars Way, happened around 4:50 a.m. Saturday, California Highway Patrol Officer Jake Sanchez said.A 2017 Toyota Tacoma pickup was traveling at high speed when the driver veered into the center median to pass a slower vehicle and struck a parked, unoccupied 1996 Nissan 200 coupe, Sanchez said.RELATED: Fatal National City crash shuts down northbound Interstate 5The pickup overturned after hitting the Nissan, which was pushed into the side of a passing vehicle, the officer said. MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Attorneys for four former Minneapolis officers charged in the death of George Floyd say that each client should get his own trial, as the officers try to diminish their roles in the Black man’s death by pointing fingers at one another. A hearing is scheduled for Friday to address several issues, including whether there will be a joint trial in the case. Other issues that will be argued include defense requests to move the trial away from Minneapolis. Floyd, who was Black, died May 25 after Derek Chauvin pressed his knee against Floyd’s neck.
