LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy was suspended following allegations that he had sex on the Universal Studios lot and the encounter was captured by the deputy's open microphone.It was unclear when the incident occurred."The deputy was immediately relieved of duty and an administrative investigation has been opened," according to a statement released by the department. "The deputy's peace officer's powers have been suspended and the proper administrative action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation."Audio of the incident was posted on TMZ's website on Tuesday. LOS ANGELES (AP) — More than 325,000 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine are on their way to California on Sunday amid record-setting case numbers and shrinking intensive care unit capacity. The first shipments of the Pfizer vaccine left Michigan early Sunday. States will get vaccines based on their adult population and additional shipments are coming this week.In California, counties will have specific allotments that will be distributed to hospitals determined by state health officials to have adequate storage capacity, serve a high-risk health care population and have the ability to vaccinate people quickly.
