It's the second time they have discovered a sky lantern on their property since Thanksgiving.Some 30 states have now banned sky lanterns, the suspected cause of wildfires from Utah to Washington to South Carolina. In Germany, police believe the device caused a fire at a zoo on New Year's Eve that killed more than 30 animals. According to Vote.org, there was a significant increase in voter registration after Taylor Swift waded into politics.Kamari Guthrie, director of communications for the nonprofit Vote.org, told Buzzfeed that numbers had spiked both nationally and in Swift's home state of Tennessee after the singer's post Sunday on Instagram."We are up to 65,000 registrations in a single 24-hour period since T. After being sworn into office Wednesday, Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona talked with Scripps' National Political Editor, Joe St. George, in Washington. St. George asked Kelly. "It can be changed. Often change takes time, but change can be a good thing for our country," Kelly said. But when it comes down to it, the community is what will help these restaurants thrive.“The food is great, the people are hospital, they’re very family oriented," Rodriguez said.
