A nurse in Illinois is no longer employed after posting on social media about running over protesters amid massive unrest gripping the country.According to WMBD-TV, the nurse is longer associated with OSF HealthCare after making “insensitive comments” on social media. It’s unclear if she was fired or quit on her own accord.“As previously shared, a Facebook comment made by one of our Mission Partners did not align with our values,” a spokesperson for OSF HealthCare told WMBD on Friday. “That person was immediately suspended, and as of today, is no longer with our organization. A pair of children, ages 1 and 3, were shot inside of a car Thursday evening outside the University Of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, the Jackson Police Chief told the Clarion-Ledger reported. The shooting briefly prompted fears of an active shooter on the university's campus, causing a heavy police response. The Clarion-Ledger reported that one child was shot in the leg, and the other in the torso. Their conditions have not been publicly released.
