The key word there is reasonable.“The problem with what's going on right now and some of the things that have been going around the internet, is that the advice, kind of spurious advice that's being put forth is to use the provision for reasonable accommodation as a sword rather than as a shield,” said David Tarrien, an associate professor at WMU-Cooley Law School.Tarrien says the conditions that qualify as a mask exemption have a smaller scope than many realize. For example, he says asthma patients likely do not fall under that scope. But later stages of pulmonary respiratory disease, emphysema, or a serious mobility issue can be "legitimate" reasons.Furthermore, you could face repercussions for lying.“If they're claiming that they have a disability and they don't have a disability, if that is found out, then there are criminal and civil penalties for that,” said Tarrien.As for privacy concerns, Tarrien says store employees are allowed to ask customers why they're not wearing a mask. It has not identified the 25 states with confirmed illnesses, nor has it said how many states are reporting cases under investigation.AFM, or acute flaccid myelitis, is a rare illness that affects the nervous system, especially the gray matter in the spinal cord, and can cause muscle weakness and sudden onset of paralysis. Shortly after that, the ranger found two whole chickens in a burlap sack in a hot spring and a cooking pot nearby.According to the Associated Press, when defendant Eric Roberts, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was asked about what the group was up to, he said they were making dinner.Of West Valley City, Utah, Dallas Roberts and Roberts were ordered to serve two days in jail and pay 0 in fines and fees, and Eric Romriell, of Idaho Falls, paid ,250 in fines and fees, the AP reported.According to the AP, the men are banned from Yellowstone while serving two years of unsupervised probation.As for whose idea it was, Eric Roberts said it was a "joint thing," the AP reported.According to the park's website, the hot springs have "injured or killed more people in Yellowstone than any other natural feature."
