She called the police when she heard "loud banging and pounding on her front door," according to the police report.In videos uploaded to Twitter by the group, which calls itself an "anti-fascist" or Antifa group in DC, last Wednesday, protesters were heard saying "Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night!" They called him a "racist scumbag" and hurled epithets.The police, speaking of the incident, said "a group of protestors broke the law by defacing private property."But the disputed detail about the door has come up several times. Carlson's friend and business partner Neil Patel repeated the description on CNN's "Reliable Sources" last weekend."People start pounding on her door and throwing themselves at the door to the point where the door actually cracked," he said.President Trump talked about it in a Wednesday interview with the conservative site The Daily Caller, which Carlson and Patel co-founded.The interviewer said: "They cracked the door — what is this violence? "This person did not throw their body against the door, as Carlson has claimed to newspapers," Pyke wrote.The Washington Post's Erik Wemple wrote Thursday, "the search for corroborating evidence continues." He noted that when he visited Carlson's home with a colleague one day after the disturbance, the door "seemed sturdy and fully intact. A woman who answered a knock looked it up and down and appeared to conclude it was in fine shape. It appeared to close snugly."Carlson responded angrily to Wemple's inquiries. And he responded angrily when contacted by CNN about the police's statement that officers did not observe any visible damage to the door."CNN has repeatedly defended Antifa, and you are doing it again now," he said in a statement through Fox News. (KGTV) -- While many drivers say a new Caltrans project in the East County is making SR-67 safer, some say it's literally making them sick to their stomach.Long considered one of the most dangerous roads in San Diego County, Caltrans is currently working on a million project to improve safety between Lakeside and Ramona.  A key part of the project is the installation of flexible posts called "channelizers" in the median.  Channelizers are bright yellow so they can be easily seen, helping prevent cars from drifting across the center into oncoming traffic."I think it'll save lives. I really do," Andy Jones tells 10News. Jones regularly drives the 67 for work.However, since the channelizers began being installed over the last few weeks, there have been a handful of reports of drivers becoming queasy.  One man told 10News the way the light reflects off the channelizers at night makes him feel nauseated.  The Ramona Sentinel reports that two people have called the Ramona Planning Board with similar complaints.Driver Donna Gines says the channelizers make her feel safer on her regular drives from Rancho Bernardo to Barona, but she can understand whey they could make some people feel ill."Some people don't react well to reflectors," she said. "It's kind of like a strobe light, maybe? And maybe it does make them dizzy."Caltrans tells 10News they have not received any direct complaints. However, after 10News raised the concern, Caltrans decided to do a review of how the channelizers are functioning.  They plan to send crews at different times of day to see if any changes need to be made. 1663

LEBANON, Ind. -- The man accused of shooting and killing a Boone County Sheriff's Deputy said on Wednesday he did it because he "didn't want to get bit by a dog" and that he has "no remorse" for what happened.Anthony Baumgardt said those two things as he was walked into court for his first appearance to answer to the charges against him in the death of Deputy Jacob Pickett.When asked why he did it, he said "I didn't want to get bit by a dog", referencing Deputy Pickett's K-9, Brik, that was with the deputy during a foot pursuit of Baumgardt on Friday, March 2 when he was shot.Brik was standing guard outside the Boone County Courthouse as Baumgardt was walked in Wednesday afternoon just before 1 p.m. 726

LA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A La Mesa woman is recovering after she says she was attacked during the protest on Saturday night. Eleyna Bedolla said she was not protesting and she is not sure if the man that attacked her was a protester. Bedolla told 10News she heard commotion in her neighborhood so she went for a walk to check out what was happening. When she noticed the demonstration, she said she started to make her way back home along Palm Avenue. That's when a man approached her with a baseball bat and asked her, "Who the hell do you think you are?"Bedolla said she told the man she was trying to get home, but she said he grabbed her and threw her into the street, hitting her with a bat in the leg. He also tried to hit her head, but Bedolla said she was able to protect herself with her hand. She suffered a broken hand and large bruising on her legs. According to Bedolla, La Mesa police were nearby and officers were able to arrest the man. She wants others to be careful when deciding to go out and protest. 10News reached out to the La Mesa Police Department to ask about the arrest, but so far have not heard back. 1139

LAKESIDE, Calif. (KGTV) -- A deputy was uninjured following a crash involving a patrol car in Lakeside Thursday night. According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened on Mapleview Street near State Route 67. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, but authorities say the deputy was uninjured. The condition of the other driver and the circumstances surrounding the crash are unclear. 421
