Brad Bufanda, an actor best known for his roles in TV shows including "Veronica Mars" and "Co-Ed Confidential," has died after apparently taking his own life.Bufanda apparently jumped from a building in Los Angeles on Wednesday and died of "traumatic injuries," according to Variety.On Friday, TMZ reported that the 34-year-old actor left a suicide note that thanked some of the people in his life and mentioned his parents.Bufanda's manager told Variety she was "completely devastated for he was an extremely talented young actor and wonderful, caring human being." She said he'd been "reviving his career" and had just finished shooting two movies.He appeared in 23 movies and TV shows since 1995, according to IMDB. BUFFALO, N.Y. — The New York State Department of Health is looking into allegations that a former administrator at Emerald South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Buffalo, New York molested a patient.A health department spokesperson tells WKBW the department is aware of claims that the assistant director of nursing was fired after being caught touching a resident inappropriately. In a separate incident, the same administrator allegedly bit a resident. "We are aware of these allegations and we are investigating. As this remains an active investigation, we cannot comment further," said health department spokesperson Jeffrey Hammond. Emerald South has already been under investigation by the state health department for two recent incidents involving the deaths of residents.In June, 87 year-old William Strasner fell to his death after police say he tried to escape from a third-floor window. In August 2016, 83 year-old Ruth Murray died after she was attacked by a male patient in the facility's dementia unit. Anyone who has a complaint or concern about nursing homes in New York State can call the Centralized Complaint Intake at 1-888-201-4563. BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — An Oklahoma woman's post on social media is going viral after she said she took her dog to a PetSmart store to get groomed only to learn it suffered a broken jaw."I'm very emotional," Tania Lara, the owner of the dog, said. "I feel scared."Lara says in her Facebook post that about an hour after she dropped off her dog Susie to get groomed at PetSmart on Hillside Drive in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, she received a phone call from a store employee who said the dog was not doing well."Something really bad was going on," Lara said. The dog owner said when she arrived at the store, the dog was bleeding and was unable to close her mouth. "She was in a lot of pain," Lara said. "She was touching her face and she was crying."The woman said she was told employees attempted to take Susie to the in-store vet, but the vet was busy. She adds they also told her Susie had dental problems.Lara said she immediately took her dog to the veterinarian, who said the dog's jaw had been broken in two places."She [had] to be hospitalized during the weekend," Lara said. "She has a feeding tube in."The dog underwent surgery on Monday. BERLIN (AP) — The German hospital treating Russian dissident Alexei Navalny says tests indicate that he was in fact poisoned.The Charité hospital said in a statement Monday that the team of doctors who have been examining Navalny since he was admitted Saturday have found the presence of “cholinesterase inhibitors” in his system.Cholinesterase inhibitors are a broad range of substances that are found in several drugs, but also pesticides and nerve agents.Doctors at Charite say at the moment the specific substance Navalny was exposed to is not yet known.The hospital says “the patient is in an intensive care unit and is still in an induced coma.
