RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Authorities are searching for a person suspected in a deadly shooting in Ramona Thursday morning.The shooting was reported just before 6 a.m. in the 600 block of Pine Street, San Diego County sheriff's officials said. The reporting party told deputies they found a man on the ground in front of a neighboring home.The man was taken to a nearby hospital but did not survive. The man was not identified.Details on what led to the shooting remain unclear, but a sheriff’s official told ABC 10News the incident is being investigated as a homicide.With deputies searching on the ground, a law enforcement helicopter hovered over the area and announced a search for a male wearing a black hoodie. Publix has announced they have purchased then donated more than 5 million pounds of produce and 350,000 gallons of milk to food banks across the southeast.The supermarket chain said in a press release that the initiative, which was launched back in April, was set up to support local farmers and help feed families through the Feeding America member food bank.“During these challenging times, we remain committed to working together to find the solutions that positively impact our communities in need, Publix CEO Todd Jones said in the release. "We are honored to continue our support of Feeding America member food banks and to purchase produce and milk from farmers across the Southeast.
