Attorney General Bill Barr said Friday the Justice Department will have special counsel Robert Mueller's report ready to release by "mid-April, if not sooner."In a letter to the chairmen of the House and Senate judiciary committees, Barr said his department is "well along" making redactions, with the assistance of the special counsel. Barr said the report is "nearly 400 pages long," not including appendices and tables and "sets forth the Special Counsel's findings, his analysis, and the reasons for his conclusions."Barr offered to testify after the report is released, suggesting May 1 for the Senate committee and May 2 for the House committee.Barr wrote that he and Mueller were working to redact four types of information from the report: grand jury material, sensitive intelligence material, information that involves ongoing investigations, and "information that would unduly infringe on the personal privacy and reputational interests of peripheral third parties."But the redactions Barr is working on are unlikely to satisfy Democrats. House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler of New York asked Barr to work with the committee to ask the courts to make grand jury information public, according to a Democratic aide, who said Barr would not commit to doing so in a call earlier this week.Democrats argue there is precedent for releasing grand jury material, and the aide said they see that as the "primary obstacle" to making the full Mueller report public. 1478

Art has a way of bringing life to the world. Tucked away in Denver, Colorado, there are performers whose abilities and passion are unmatched. That place is Phamaly Theater Company. “This is a place where disability and just human difference is redefined,” says Regan Linton, artistic director of Phamaly Theatre. “It transforms the stories we tell, even though we are telling a lot of the same stories that other theatre companies do. We do it in a different way based off the identities of the people in our company.”Phamaly Theatre Company is a home for theatre artists with disabilities. “All the actors are exclusively actors with disabilities of all kinds,” Linton says. According to PTC website, it was founded in 1989 and created when five students from the Boettcher School in Denver, all living with disabilities, grew frustrated with the lack of theatrical opportunities for people living with disabilities. The group decided to create a theatre company that would provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to perform. “Right now, we are rehearsing for ‘Chicago,’” says Kathleen Traylor, an actress and one of the co-founders of PTC. “Back then, they could figure out how to get a life-size elephant on the stage, but a wheel chair always baffled them.” Traylor was born with multiple deformities caused by something called amniotic band syndrome. Traylor performs in a wheel chair due to this condition.“I went to special education schools that was all disabled kids,” Traylor says. “In sixth grade, I was too young to audition for the theater. I watched the very second play that they ever did, and 10 minutes into the show and I forgot the entire cast was all disabled. I just thought I had to be part of that magic.”Phamaly Theatre Company has been around for 30 years. “We are changing the nature of how we think of disability – that it’s not a limitation,” Linton says. “It’s not a limiting experience. It actually expands you to be a more complex, interesting, and talented, adaptable human being.” 2040

As many as 20 correctional officers who work at the federal detention center where Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide received grand jury subpoenas last week relating to an investigation into his death, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.Investigators are trying to recreate the events that happened on the night Epstein died nearly two weeks ago at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York, the source said.For example, investigators want to talk to the lieutenants who were in charge that night to get details on rounds that were not made, the source said. Canadian officials on Thursday said that seven people were killed in a plane crash in Kingston, Ontario, which is located along Lake Ontario, near the border with New York. According to CTV, three children were among those killed in Wednesday's plane crash.An official from Canada's Transportation Safety Board said weather may have been a factor. Winds in the area reached 50 MPH around the time of the crash."Pilots are always faced with, you know, obtaining the latest weather, looking at the forecast, looking at the weather along different stations and the weather from one station may vary greatly from another station," Ken Webster from the Transportation Safety Board said. "So at this point, all we have to go on is is we know that it was a deteriorating to some point. So we have to look into exactly the route of the aircraft, where and how the weather was along his route and when he got here, what it was like. So that's what we need to do."The plane took off from Toronto's Buttonville Municipal Airport, and was attempting to land at the airport in Kingston. It is believed that the plane was stopping in Kingston on its way to Quebec City. CTV reported that the plane was an American aircraft. The identities of the seven on board have not been released.
