"It just completely pounds that thing, bouncing it off the walls like a pinball... trying to get behind it, next to it, in front of it, is a bad place to be," Olson said.The divers took pictures and were prepared to pump out fuel when they realized there was no fuel to be found, "there are no fuel tanks left to be found, they're gone. So in the process of the boat coming apart they have floated away, it did not smell like fuel inside the cave at all," he said.Three pieces of the boat came back with the crew, two hunks of fiberglass, "part of a hatch possibly," Olson said, and a steering wheel.Friday morning the crew will devise a plan to pick up the rest. "Float larger sections out possibly drag them off and hoist them up to a boat we'll have waiting out there," Olson said.The divers possibly swimming out the smaller debris. PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KGTV) - The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway reopened to visitors Monday after storm damage that closed the popular attraction for almost two months. The Valentine’s Day storm severed the power feed to the mountain and washed out a road, according to tram officials. Crews spent weeks making necessary repairs and cleaning up damage. The closure kept 100,000 visitors away, tram officials estimate. The storm led to almost million in repair costs and lost revenues. “It’s been a long six weeks for everyone, but today we are delighted to finally welcome back Tram visitors. On behalf of the entire Tramway staff, we are thrilled to be back open for business and truly appreciate the community’s support throughout our closure,” said Tramway General Manager Nancy Nichols. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which is the world’s largest rotating tram car, opened in 1963. Some of these things are 100 or 1,000 times more potent than heroin," said Dr. Michael Miller of Rogers Memorial Hospital in Oconomowoc.The drug is new to Wisconsin, but law enforcement has found it in Florida and Georgia. Last week, a Pennsylvania man, Jeremy Achey, 43, was sentenced to life in prison for supplying tetrahydrofuran fentanyl.According to federal court records, a man overdosed and his fiancee died when they bought it from him over the internet. Prosecutors say the seller told customers, "It is best if you snort it, shoot it, or smoke it."Miller said most addicts do not even know they are taking this synthetic fentanyl."Most people who are exposed to synthetic fentanyls are not using them intentionally. They are not desiring to use them because they understand that the potency is so high it could be lethal," Miller said.Achey is believed to have mailed thousands of packages containing the drug to customers throughout the United States. In order to survive it, Miller warned you would need a large dose of Narcan."It's the fentanyl part that is really fatal because it shuts down your breathing and you die instantly," said Miller.
