CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Two siblings, one brother and one sister, had their children at Cape Coral Hospital on the same day, within hours of one another.Kenia Pozo and her older brother Marcus had a daughter and a son on May 14th.Pozo and her brother's girlfriend Katery Lara, gave birth after two subsequent cesarean sections. Pozo was scheduled to have hers first and give birth to a girl, Michaela Rose, just before 8 a.m. Lara gave birth to a boy, Kaiser Alexis, just after 11 a.m. the same day.The two women say they grew especially close during their pregnancies. Initially, Lara was due on May 26th and Pozo was due May 27th. Both women initially thought that they would give birth at least a day apart from one another. Pozo and Lara, who both have the same doctor, discovered they were going to deliver on the same day after scheduling their surgeries. The women said they were happy to have gone through the experience together and they hope their children will share a special bond because of how they came into the world.  1093

Chi Chi DeVayne, a popular contestant on the reality competition show “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” has died at the age of 34.Entertainment Weekly was one of the first news outlets to confirm the death of the drag queen, whose real name is Zavion Davenport.RuPaul confirmed the news in a statement on Twitter."I am heartbroken to learn of the passing of Chi Chi DeVayne,” wrote the TV show host. “I am so grateful that we got to experience her kind and beautiful soul. Catastrophic wildfires continue to ravage California, as one blaze nearly doubled in size over the last three days, making it the largest in the state's history.No one has been injured in the Mendocino Complex Fire, which consists of two fires -- the Ranch Fire and the River Fire -- burning around Clear Lake, in several counties in Northern California.Combined, they form the biggest blaze that California firefighters are currently battling. Altogether, the Mendocino Complex Fire has burned 283,800 acres -- growing about 80% since Friday night. As of Monday evening, it was 30% contained and had destroyed 75 residences.The Mendocino Complex Fire has now surpassed last year's Thomas Fire, which burned 281,893 acres in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, as the largest fire in Cal Fire history.Exhausted firefighters across the state are trying to contain 16 major fires that are burning in hot, dry and windy conditions.On Monday, another fast-moving fire ignited in the state -- this time in Orange County, where firefighters battled the Holy Fire that expanded to more than 4,000 acres. (KGTV) — A man was airlifted to the hospital Sunday after illegally climbing over a section of Calexico's border and falling.The man, who U.S. Customs and Border Protection said had crossed over illegally sometime just after 8 p.m., broke both of his legs and sustained a back injury from the 30-foot fall from atop the border wall.Video shows the man climbing over and falling to the ground, where he lay motionless.RELATED: Congress watchdog: Border wall may cost more, take longerBorder officials said they found him behind the nearby Gran Plaza Outlet Mall at about 9 p.m.Agents on the scene provided the man with first aid and called in emergency responders, who took the man to a Palm Springs medical center.El Centro Sector Border Patrol released the video on Twitter this week, reminding the public of the danger of attempting to climb the border wall. 890
