After the initial phase of testing, the school will begin testing students at random. “Following the initial phase of benchmark testing for all students in residence this week, we will then launch random testing for the on-campus housing population. During each round of testing, a set of individuals from each residential community group will be randomly sampled to be re-tested,” the school said.The news comes as 648 students tested positive or presumptive positive for the virus.According to SDSU, 644 students have so far tested positive for the virus. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego's City Council head Friday called for a temporary stop on dockless scooters in San Diego until a new plan is developed.President Pro Tem Barbara Bry has called for a moratorium on electric scooters, saying, "enough is enough – scooter companies have had their opportunity." "In May, the City Council approved a permitting and regulatory program that went into effect on July 1. We believed these rules could help reestablish order on our sidewalks," Bry said in a statement.
