The NCAA has announced Wednesday a series of major changes to college basketball in the hopes of eliminating corruption in the sport.The NCAA will now allow undergraduate students to participate in the NBA draft and return to school if they are not selected. Previously, players were allowed to attend the NBA combine but needed to withdraw 10 days prior to the draft in order to retain eligibility."Elite" high school prospects will now be permitted to be represented by an agent certified by the NCAA. According to CBS, USA Basketball will be tasked with choosing which prospects are considered "elite."The NCAA also announced major changes to the recruiting calendar, which the association hopes will allow recruits to attend more showcase events put on by high schools. Currently, apparel companies put on some of the most prestigious recruiting events.Finally, the NCAA will hold university presidents and chancellors personally accountable for their own athletics programs. The object of both games is to eliminate all other players and be the last person standing, and both games take place on an island. According to The Verge, both games were also developed on Unreal Engine 4, a system developed by Epic Games.However, the games do have notable differences: Fortnite allows players to gather materials and build fortresses and barriers.While PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has waned in popularity, Fortnite has exploded around the world. The parent company for Gap and Banana Republic announced Friday that they would close more than 225 stores globally to "further advance its long-term strategic priority of a smaller healthier fleet."The closures are expected to occur this year with more stores closing in 2021, Gap Inc. said in its earnings report.According to the New York Post, many of the stores closing are located in malls.Also stated in its earnings report, the company closed 25 Old Navy's, 87 Gap's, 50 Banana Republic's, two Athleta's, one Intermix, and eight Janie and Jack stores in the quarter ending Aug. 1.Aug. 1 had 3,814 stores worldwide, which is 100 fewer stores that they had on Feb. 1, which was 3,919.Due to them temporarily closing their stores due to COVID-19, the company stated that they began the quarter with an 18% decline in net sales. 839
