Facebook says it will start removing false claims about COVID-19 vaccines, in its latest move to counter a tide of coronavirus-related online misinformation.The social network said Thursday that it will take down any Facebook or Instagram posts with false information about the vaccines that have been debunked by public health experts.The U.S. tech giant is taking action as the first COVID vaccines are set to be rolled out.Facebook said it’s applying a policy to remove virus misinformation that could lead to “imminent physical harm.”Posts that fall afoul of the policy could include phony claims about vaccine safety, efficacy, ingredients or side effects.“For example, we will remove false claims that COVID-19 vaccines contain microchips, or anything else that isn’t on the official vaccine ingredient list,” Facebook wrote.The company says it will also remove conspiracy theories about COVID-19 vaccines that are known to be untruthful, like the falsehood that alleges specific populations are being used without their consent to test the vaccine’s safety.Facebook says it will not be able to start enforcing the new policies overnight.“Since it’s early and facts about COVID-19 vaccines will continue to evolve, we will regularly update the claims we remove based on guidance from public health authorities as they learn more,” wrote the company. 1363

FALLBROOK (CNS) - Authorities Saturday were continuing to seek a driver who was involved in a crash with another car in Fallbrook early Friday then fled, was pursued by the other car's driver and escaped when the other driver was involved in a second crash.Officers said the driver of the Mustang was in critical condition at a hospital as a result of the crash.The dangerous chain of events began shortly before 9:40 a.m. when a brown SUV, possibly a GMC Envoy, and a Ford Mustang collided on southbound South Mission Road at Stage Coach Lane, just west of Fallbrook High School, according to information from CHP Officer Mark Latulippe.The "involved vehicles began to chase each other," Latulippe said, and the two cars initially headed south, but later turned around and continued north on South Mission Road.As the cars approached the intersection with Stage Coach Lane -- the same area where the first collision occurred -- a Honda CRV was also nearing the signal, heading west on Stage Coach.The SUV made it through the intersection, but the Mustang was struck by the CRV, which was heading into the intersection with a green light, Latulippe said.Another two cars, a Toyota Tundra and a Volvo V60, were also struck by the Mustang after the impact with the CRV.The driver of the Mustang, a 19-year-old Fallbrook man, suffered "major injuries" and was taken to Palomar Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition Friday night, Latulippe said.A female passenger in the Mustang, also 19, was being treated at Sharp Memorial Hospital for injuries described as minor.Drivers and passengers in the other cars involved in the second crash had complaints of pain, but no other injuries, according to Latulippe.It is believed the car involved in the initial crash is possibly an early 2000s GMC Envoy driven my a man. ESCONDIDO, Cali. (KGTV) — A recently released video shows two burglars forcing their way into a hospice care nonprofit in Escondido.Jan Jones heads The Elizabeth Hospice. Its corporate offices sit on the third floor of an office building in the 500 block of La Terraza Blvd.  One day in July around 4 a.m., two people were recorded on surveillance video sneaking into the parking garage. Minutes later, they're at the main door of the nonprofit. One of the men tries the handle, but can't get in. Then they move onto another secure door, which requires a badge to open.Moments later, from a camera on the inside of the offices, the door is seen being yanked on over and over, before two men forced their way in.MAP: Track crime happening in your neighborhoodOne is wearing a hoodie. The other man is sporting a cap and a large backpack. They are seen going from room to room, raiding desks and shelves, and grabbing electronics. Then they split up and make their way out.  Among the items stolen are three laptops."No patient data, but they are used to provide the services we provide," said Jones.Also gone: A pricey camera used to make videos for critical training sessions."We care for people who are seriously ill, and we care for their families, and so anybody doing that would be heartless and should be brought to task. I think whoever did that has no soul," said Jones.The door the men damaged has been replaced by the landlord. The other damage is harder to undo. Fall must be right around the corner because Starbucks is bringing back its Pumpkin Spice Latte.The coffee chain announced the drink, which it's also affectionately known as "PSL," will make a come back sometime this year.According to Business Insider, Starbucks customers could see the popular item return menus on August 25.Last year, the drink returned in late August.Dunkin' says PSL will be on their menus by August 19.You may also be able to get the popular drink quicker than ever before.In a company earnings call on Tuesday, Starbucks also announced more locations will have a curbside pick-up, drive-thrus, and mobile-only pick-up locations.More than 400 Starbucks locations will close as the company undergoes restructuring plans.The goal is to move toward convenient coffeehouses.During the call, the coffee giant released its quarterly earnings, with revenue plummeting 38% to .2 billion. 911

ENCINITAS, Calif. (KGTV) -- A girl who disappeared from Moonlight Beach Tuesday afternoon was found safe in San Marcos. According to lifeguards, the 14-year-old girl’s family called to report her missing just before 5 p.m. Just before 6 p.m. the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said the young girl was located in San Marcos. It's unclear at this time what the girl was doing in San Marcos, but the department said family members were traveling to the city to pick her up. 487
