A woman in Tallahassee, Florida is accused of drawing a gun on another shopper at a Publix grocery store last Sunday after the victim cut in line, the Tallahassee Democrat reported. According to a report of the incident by the Leon County Sheriff's Office obtained by the Tallahassee Democrat, Jessica Mock, 36, was about to check out at the Publix, but had forgotten an item. She left her cart in line to retrieve the item. When she returned, another customer had gotten in line in front of her. After Mock and the other female customer argued, the other woman got in another line. According to the report, the customer told Mock, "I'll meet you outside." Mock responded, "I'll see you outside."Once outside, Mock is accused of pulling a gun out of her waistband on the shopper. Later, the victim drove away and called law enforcement while Mock allegedly followed the woman. That is when police caught up to Mock. Mock denied pulling a gun or intentionally following the woman, but law enforcement did find a firearm. Mock was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, according to the report given to the Tallahassee Democrat.  1233

After President Donald Trump blasted violence that has transpired at Black Lives Matter protests, claiming that Democrats are encouraging riots, Trump was asked to address a violent encounter involving a supporter of his last week.Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, was charged on Wednesday for the deaths of two demonstrators in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and for wounding a third protester. It has since been determined through social media that Rittenhouse is a supporter of Trump.During his Monday news conference, Trump said about the incident in Kenosha, "That was an interesting situation. He was trying to get away from them, I guess… and he fell & then they very violently attacked him.Trump added, “He probably would've been killed."Trump’s statement was in line with claims made by Rittenhouse’s attorney, who said that the shootings were in self-defense.Rittenhouse "has suddenly found himself at the center of a national firestorm and charged with murder after defending himself from a relentless, vicious and potentially deadly mob attack in Kenosha, Wisconsin,” attorney John Pierce of Pierce Bainbridge said in a statement last week. The exact circumstances that led to last week’s shooting are unclear, but several videos posted on social media have given investigators some insight. One of the videos appeared to show Rittenhouse scuffling with demonstrators before firing several shots. He is then seen walking away from the incident with the gun dangling from his chest while holding his hands up.While officers initially did not confront Rittenhouse at the scene late Tuesday, he was arrested the next day.Trump is scheduled to visit Kenosha on Tuesday, the site of ongoing unrest following the shooting of Jacob Blake. Blake was shot seven times in the back by Officer Rusten Sheskey. Per department policy, Sheskey is on paid administrative leave.Protesters supporting the Black Lives Matter movement have called on both Sheskey’s firing and arrest for the shooting.White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany told reporters earlier on Monday that Trump will visit businesses damaged amid the unrest.Earlier in the day, McEnany said Trump is "not going to wade into that"in addressing the Rittenhouse incident. 2225

A woman who was 16 when she killed a Nashville man who solicited her for sex must serve at least 51 years in prison before she's eligible for release, according to the Tennessee Supreme Court. On Thursday the court said defendants like Cyntoia Brown, who are convicted of first-degree murder committed after July 1, 1995, and sentenced to life imprisonment, can't become eligible for release from prison before serving more than five decades. The court's five justices were unanimous in their decision against Brown, who was convicted of killing a 43-year-old man in 2004 when he took her to his house for sex. Brown has said she killed him after she feared he would kill her.Thursday's ruling came in response to a lawsuit in which Brown argues her sentence is unconstitutional, citing a 2012 opinion by the US Supreme Court that said mandatory life sentences without parole for juvenile offenders violate the US Constitution. The Tennessee Supreme Court explained in a statement that "under state law, a life sentence is a determinate sentence of 60 years. However, the sixty-year sentence can be reduced by up to 15 percent, or 9 years, by earning various sentence credits."According to the Tennessee code, those credits include recognition for good behavior or participation in educational or vocational training programsA district court previously denied Brown's motion, per court documents, pointing out she hadn't been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole -- just a life sentence. The case is pending judgment by the US Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, which asked the Tennessee Supreme Court to share its opinion. 1649

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -- The woman killed in an explosion authorities believe was intentional in Orange County Tuesday has been identified as Ildiko Krajnyak-Vestil of Trabuco Canyon. The explosion happened from the inside of the two-story medical facility located on 5 Mareblu just after 1 p.m.The person who died was inside the building at the time of the blast. Authorities first believed a car had crashed into the side of the building but later said that isn’t the case. The FBI and a bomb squad were sent to the scene to assess the situation and investigate the cause of the explosion. At a press conference Wednesday afternoon, the FBI said they ruled out any accidental cause of the explosion, saying they believe the incident was intentional. An FBI official said there were items found at the scene that were inconsistent with what would be at the medical facility. A motive is unclear at this time and authorities say they haven't arrested any suspects. Officials told KABC that the medical facility appeared to be under construction. A preschool in the area was ordered to evacuate as a precaution after the explosion. Authorities held a news conference giving an update on the investigation Wednesday afternoon. A Ypsilanti teen says he worked hard to buy the car of his dreams, only to find out the car he had bought from a man on Craigslist was registered as stolen. Daniel O’Bryan has been balancing high school and his job at a grocery store for the past two years. He saved up enough money to buy a 2008 Trail Blazer from a man on Craigslist. O’Bryan and his family thought through their research. “My husband checked all three spots on the car to make sure the VIN number matched with the title that the gentleman had, and everything came back fine there were no red flags or anything,” O’Bryan’s mother, Kathy O’Bryan said.It was not until they had taken the car to the Michigan Secretary of State that they found out the car was listed as stolen. The rightful owner of the car is Sal’s Auto Parts out of Detroit. The owner said he lent the car to a business partner at M&G Repair, and the car was stolen outside the workers' Allen Park home. “Probably the most hurtful part was seeing my car being towed away and I didn’t even get to drive it yet,” O’Bryan said. O'Bryan says the man who sold him the car is not returning his calls. A spokesperson for the Michigan Secretary of State provided these tips for buying a car offline:  1283
