Trump's public attacks against Koch and his brother David, who recently retired, highlight a growing divide between the populist base of the Republican Party represented by the President and the business-minded wing that for years has relied heavily on the Koch brothers' financial support and influence. The President was apparently referring to remarks Charles Koch reportedly made over the weekend when he told reporters that he thought the Trump administration's trade policies are "unfair" to other countries. The Koch brothers have opposed Trump's tariff and trade policies. The President amped up his attacks on the Koch brothers this week after he was criticized at a Koch network summer meeting.During the conference, network co-chair Brian Hooks criticized Trump and his administration, saying "the divisiveness of this White House is causing long-term damage."And Charles Koch said that his network would "hold people responsible" for not defending his network's libertarian principles and policy priorities, raising speculation that the Kochs are reconsidering their typically full-throated support for Republican candidates in the midterm elections.Trump responded on Tuesday, calling the brothers a "total joke in real Republican circles" and claimed he never "sought their support because I don't need their money or bad ideas." 1341

What was not disputed in court Tuesday was some of what happened before the shooting, which happened in the early-morning hours of June 1, 2018.Kim had gone to dinner with two friends, and they went out to an Aurora karaoke café afterward and had drinks. Kim ordered an Uber ride home, which Hancock answered. From there, the stories between what Hancock and his attorneys say happened and what prosecutors claim begin to differ.Prosecutors argued in their opening statements that at some point during the ride, Hancock's vehicle slowed down on I-25, stopped on the shoulder and Hancock got out of the vehicle and shot at Kim 10 times, hitting him six times, before the vehicle went across the interstate again and hit a wall on the west side. They argued that witnesses saw Hancock outside of the car when the shooting happened and that he chose to kill Kim when he got out of the vehicle and shot him. Prosecutors said that Kim was shot in the back and on his right side and that he did not pose a threat to Hancock when Hancock was out of the vehicle, saying Hancock "has Mr. Kim's blood on his hands. But Hancock's attorneys painted a picture of self-defense and argued that he had no choice but to defend himself against a man who they said was attacking their client as he was driving down the interstate. They told the jury that they would show that prosecutors cannot prove the burden that Hancock committed first-degree murder during the trial, which is scheduled for five days.Defense attorney Johnna Stuart painted Hancock as a family man, with kids aged 5 and 6, who worked at a group home for troubled youth and was going to school for animation while he drove Uber over night for extra money and to see his wife and kids. She said he left his home on the night of May 31 to pick up Kim. But she claimed that after Hancock picked up Kim from the karaoke spot, he took him to his stop a couple of miles, but Kim did not get out, so he continued to drive. Stuart said Kim was heavily intoxicated during the ride.An 2021

We are going to get through it, said teammate and friend Kev'vontae Leland. Coach Jeremy Frioud and Leland hugged with tears flowing down their faces. The thought of Jacquez not walking out of Bayfront is heartbreaking. "He was one of the hardest players on the team," said Frioud. Neurosurgeon Kirk Jobe at Bayfront Hospital in St. Pete says just 1 out of 10,000 people have the arteriovenus malformation condition. It is often considered a “silent” condition because it doesn’t have any signs or symptoms for many people until someone has blood vessels rupture in their brain. It is often not passed down from relatives and the condition can vary greatly from one patient to the next. Doctors say there was no way to prevent it. No way to predict it. It wouldn’t haven mattered if Jacquez was playing football or eating breakfast on a Saturday morning. Jobe says this could have happened to him at any time. “It literally is a ticking time bomb in the head and there is no way to predict when this will happen nor who is walking around with this,” Neurosurgeon Kirk Jobe explained. The news of Jacquez's condition comes just days after he and his teammates were mourning the death of Marquis Scott, who was shot to death while riding a bicycle in St. Petersburg. Scott also played for Northeast's football team while he was a student there.Jacquez is the oldest in his family. His parents say his brothers and sisters look up to him. His parents are preparing his siblings for his passing. Northeast High School Principal Michael Hernandez released this statement: Jacquez Welch is a beloved member of the Northeast High School football team and the school community. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time. Out of respect for his privacy, we cannot share information on his medical condition. Support will be available to students and staff when school resumes on Monday and will be in place as long as needed. This article was originally written by JJ Burton and Sarah Hollenbeck for 2009

We looked at each other and we were like, who is this kid?! It was like a switch went off in him. His parents realized that as the city was being transformed from hurting to healing, Ozzie was also transformed."I have all the hockey stuff under my bed," Ozzie explained. "Let's see, one two, three, these are the sticks. Ozzie puts on his mask and is ready to play. The Patton's tile floor becomes an ice rink and the sounds of the game fill the house. He knows it's not as easy as the Knights make it look, but the game ramps up when Ozzie's older brother Asher joins in on the fun. From games in the house to his first steps on the ice, Ozzie is finally making connections. His skating coach Samantha Liegner even got a smile from him. 735
