At a White House briefing on Wednesday, Vice President Mike Pence said that the government will have 1.5 million coronavirus tests ready to distribute this week after bipartisan criticism was levied on the government's ability to distribute tests. An arrest has been made after authorities say a driver intentionally rammed another car in Southern California, killing three teenage boys and injuring three others. The California Highway Patrol says the Toyota Prius was hit Sunday night in Temescal Valley, went off the road and slammed into a tree. Three boys died and three had moderate injuries. A witness followed the other car and CHP officers arrested 42-year-old Anurag Chandra of Corona in a neighborhood near the accident scene. He was booked on suspicion of murder with malice. Apple just bought the bulk of Intel's smartphone-modem business in a deal valued at billion.The deal includes about 2,200 Intel employees who will now join Apple, as well as intellectual property, equipment and leases, the two companies said in a joint release put out Thursday.Apple will now hold over 17,000 wireless technology patents, according to the release.
