SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Customers at two Walmart stores in the North County say they received hundreds of dollars in fake bills.Last Thursday night, Billy Wagner went to the Walmart on Center Drive in San Marcos and cashed out a ,000 money transfer from a friend on the east coast."Watched the lady count the money on the counter three times," said Wagner.On the same night - and about five miles away in Escondido - John Whittingham stopped by the Walmart Neighborhood Market on East Valley Parkway to cash a check, receiving four 0 bills. "You won't believe it. These two 0 bills are counterfeit. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Caltrans is alerting San Diegans of a closure that will shut down SR-163 Wednesday and Thursday nights.According to the agency, all lanes of SR-163 will close between Interstate 8 and Genesee Avenue between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday nights.Caltrans says the northbound lanes will close Wednesday night and the southbound lanes will shut down Thursday night. Antonia Maryna Gomez is a mom of two in Chula Vista and said it’s been hard to find ways to stay entertained and cool while also remembering social distancing.She’s taken her three-year-old to the pool, visited splash pads, played with water balloons and tried the beach, but she said the crowds were too large for her comfort at the beach.
