JULIAN, Calif. (KGTV) - San Diego Sheriff's deputies are investigating a possible threat against Julian High School Friday.Deputies contacted the student suspected of issuing the threat off-campus, according to Julian Union High School District Superintendent Patrick Hefflin. Laguna and temperatures below freezing Tuesday.Tom is a co-owner of Laguna Mountain Lodge co-owner.  He told 10News, "Well, it got really cold, dropped down to about 22 and wind was just howlin' and then I got up about 5 this morning and the wind had died and there was a coating of snow; beautiful."It hasn't been exceptionally busy at the lodge; it usually takes a heavier snowfall to bring the crowds.It's also dangerous, he told us."It was pretty icy this morning; the roads were real bad." Just because you're bankrupt doesn't mean you don't need a hand during the holiday season.Toys R Us, which filed for bankruptcy on Monday night, announced Thursday that it is looking to fill at least 13,000 positions nationwide for the upcoming holiday season.The toy retailer didn't give the total number of seasonal workers it plans to hire, but said it is looking for 3,800 workers in the New York area, 2,400 in greater Los Angeles as well as 2,400 at a warehouse in Groveport, Ohio that is run by DHL. It is also looking for about 1,000 workers each in the Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston markets as well as 900 work at home call center employees.Hiring workers just for the holidays will be harder for retailers this year since unemployment at at 4.4%, near a 16-year low. KEYSTONE, Colo. -- A North Carolina man died after hitting a tree while skiing at Keystone Resort in Colorado over the weekend.The Summit County Sheriff's Office said CPR was in progress when deputies responded to the resort shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday.The 32-year-old skier from Raleigh had been on an intermediate trail when he struck the tree, according to the resort. Keystone didn't say which trail the crash occurred on. The victim was transported to Saint Anthony Keystone Medical Clinic, where he was pronounced dead."Keystone Resort, Keystone Ski Patrol and the entire Vail Resorts family extend our deepest sympathy and support to our guest's family and friends," Keystone Resort Vice President and General Manager Geoff Buchheister said in a written statement.The skier has not yet been identified. 833
