"Safeguarding the peaceful use of outer space and preventing the weaponization of and an arms race in outer space are common interest and obligations of all countries."In responding to the growing challenge for security in outer space, the international community also witnessed common grounds on opposing to the weaponization of outer space and advertising the Prevention of an Arms Race in Outer Space, he said.The General Assembly, for consecutive years, adopted " Prevention of an Arms Race in Outer Space" resolution by overwhelming majority of votes, calling for negotiations on an international legally-binding instrument on the prevention of an arms race in outer space at the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva."The mankind has marched into the 6th decade of outer space exploitation, and the manned space flight has made a history of 50 years," Wang said."Recently, China has successfully launched the Tiangong-1 ( Heavenly Palace 1) as a target spacecraft for rendezvous and docking experiment, which opens a new era of China's manned space flight, and also reflects that China is committed itself to the honorable objective of promoting the peaceful exploration and utilization of the outer space, maintaining peace and bringing benefit to mankind."

SEOUL, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Samsung Electronics, the world's second-largest manufacturer of mobile phones, said Monday that it launched its latest smart mobile gadget Galaxy Note in South Korea in a bid to take the lead in a new phase of the mobile phone market.The Galaxy Note, which was first introduced in September at IFA 2011, the consumer electronics fair held in Berlin, was Samsung's latest Galaxy lineup, combining the portability of a smartphone with the larger screen of a tablet computer, according to Samsung.The device ensured portability and grip with 9.65-millimeter thin, 182 grams in weight and a rounded back design, while featuring a 5.3-inch super active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display.The function of "S Pen," or a digital pen, was added to the device in a bid to enable users to draw, paint and crop images by writing on the screen, Samsung said.Featuring Android's 2.3 Gingerbread platform, the gadget was powered by a 1.5-gigahertz dual core processor supplemented with fourth generation (4G) long term evolution (LTE) network service."Galaxy Note is a revolutionary product opening a new category in the market. WINDHOEK, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- An agreement on Economic and Technical Co-operation was signed here on Tuesday between the Chinese and Namibian governments.The agreement was signed after Namibian Cabinet ministers and officials from various ministries held talks with Chinese State Councilor Liu Yandong, who arrived in Namibia on Tuesday for a three-day official visit.Minister of Presidential Affairs Albert Kawana, who is the Acting Director-General (DG) of the National Planning Commission (NPC), and Ambassador of China to Namibia Wei Ruixing signed the agreement.The two also exchanged letters on the provision of office supplies and solar energy equipment to the Namibian government by the Chinese government.During their talks, Liu highly spoke of the steady, healthy development of the relations between the two countries.She said the substantial cooperation have been obtained on agriculture, mining and human resources.
