EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) — FBI investigators are searching for two men wanted for robbing an East County bank last month.Two men entered the Citi Bank location at 402 Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon on Dec. 27, 2019, just before 1:30 p.m. One men approached a teller and made a verbal demand for money while the second suspect remained in the bank lobby.After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects left the bank on foot in an unknown direction.The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man, in his late 40s to 50s, about 5-foot-9, with slender build. He had dark, possibly dyed, hair and a dark handlebar mustache. He was last seen wearing reading glasses, a camouflaged baseball cap, long sleeve blue shirt with a short sleeve red shirt on top, and boots.The second suspect was also described as a Caucasian man, in his late 30s, standing about 5-foot 10-inches tall, and with slender build. Dominica Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit confirmed on his Facebook page on Monday that he was rescued as Hurricane Maria hit his small island nation.  Hurricane Maria made landfall just before 10 p.m. ET on the island of Dominica with top winds of 160 MPH. Skerrit's roof was one of many that were ripped off as Maria came on shore. "My roof is gone. I am at the complete mercy of the hurricane. House is flooding," Skerrit said just before being rescued. Hurricane Maria is the second Category 5 hurricane to strike the Caribbean in the last two weeks. Hurricane Maria is following a similar path as Hurricane Irma, which devastated parts of the Caribbean before coming on shore in Florida on Sept. 10.Local radio reports said that parts of Dominica are flooded, and there has been roof failure at a local hospital. Dominica has a total population of 73,000 residents.  934

During an interview with British think tank Chatham House on Wednesday, National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Disease Director Dr. Anthony Fauci said that while the end of the pandemic is in sight, the worst may still be yet to come.In an interview with the British policy institute Chatham House on Wednesday, Fauci said Americans should have reserved excitement regarding an impending vaccine.His comments came just days after Pfizer announced that it's vaccine candidate was 90% effective in Phase 3 trials and is on track for an Emergency Use Authorization application. But the comments also came as the U.S. in the midst of the largest spike in new cases since the pandemic began as well as an uptick in deaths and hospitalizations."I look at the vaccine is that help is coming and it's coming soon," Fauci said. "...for the time being, we have to adhere to the public health measures, and I hope that the fact that people realize that help is on the way in the form of a vaccine and soon, that that would get them to be even more motivated to do the public health measures."Despite the spike in cases, Fauci stressed that he does not believe the U.S. would require another shutdown in order to get things under control.
