(KGTV) — A man was killed Thursday after a tree branch broke free and struck him in Valley Center.A 54-year-old man was walking in 31000 block of Oak Glen Rd. just before 5 p.m. when a large eucalyptus tree branch broke loose and fell on him, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.Deputies and fire officials responded to provide medical aid, but the man's injuries were fatal and he died at the scene.Authorities did not reveal the man's identity. 488

Twitter says it will begin removing misinformation about COVID-19 vaccinations from its site. That includes false claims that the virus is not real, debunked claims about the effects of receiving the vaccine. Uber has agreed to pay 56 current and former employees about ,900 each, or .9 million, to settle their claims of gender discrimination, harassment and hostile work environment.On Monday, lawyers for the plaintiffs filed paperwork in a Northern California district court that outlined how a million settlement announced in April would be divvied up.
