He had such a troubled and haunted journey when I first signed him that I wasn’t aware of because he did it all with a smile. One of the nicest and sincere kids you could ever meet. About 5 years ago I created a alternative rap group for him and @Kehlani along with a few other talented young artist called “PWD”. They were all so dope that I invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in them. They had amazing songs with @E40 @losangelesconfidential @djpremier and more. They toured with @therealtechn9ne and even performed on Wildnout, at SXSW and other festivals. And Bowers was the energy of the group, a writer, rapper, singer, skateboarder.??! The kid could do it all, but like most of us he had his own demons and darkness that he struggled with. We would often talk about God and Spirituality and he got to a place where it all was confusing for him and he couldn’t trust anyone. I told him I would always have his back and would be there for him so when I got the call today that he slit his throat and then immediately after the San Diego police shot him numerous times. My heart sunk. Through the grace of the Most High Ryan Bowers is still here with us, but he needs your prayers and positive energy. (KGTV) - The man who tried to kidnap a 15-year-old girl in front of her Encinitas home was sentenced Monday to seven years in jail.Jeremiah Owens, 28, grabbed the girl and pinned her to the ground as she waxed her surfboard in front of her home on Neptune Ave in July 2017.Owens tried to drag the girl to a nearby pickup truck occupied by Christopher White, but the girl was able to break free and run home.White was arrested two days after the assault when a witness matched his pickup truck to the description of one which deputies wanted to find. VISTA (CNS) - A male recently reported missing from Oceanside was hospitalized this morning after he was struck by an SUV in Vista.The collision was reported just before 3 a.m. at 2405 N. Santa Fe Ave., said San Diego County sheriff's Sgt. Kevin Johnston.The pedestrian was struck by a red Dodge Dakota that was southbound on Santa Fe Avenue. ``The driver of the Dodge Dakota looked down briefly and when he looked back up a pedestrian was standing in the middle of the roadway in front of him,'' Johnston said. ``The driver of the Dodge Dakota attempted to swerve but collided with the pedestrian.''Oceanside firefighters provided first aid to the pedestrian who suffered an apparent broken leg and was unconscious with what appeared to be severe head trauma, the sergeant said.He was taken to Palomar Medical Center for treatment, Johnston said. Officials warn the losses could top billion over two years. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy calls the agency's financial position “dire.″ But he disputes reports his agency is slowing down mail and says it has “ample capacity to deliver all election mail securely and on time." WASHINGTON — The government’s cybersecurity agency is expressing increased alarm about a hack of computer systems in the U.S. and around the globe that officials suspect was carried out by Russia.The cybersecurity unit of the Department of Homeland Security says the hack “poses a grave risk” to the U.S. government and state and local governments as well as critical infrastructure and private business.The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency announced the SolarWinds Orion vulnerability that was disclosed this week as the compromised piece of software, was not the only way that hackers were able to get into government agencies, private companies and critical infrastructures over the last several months."CISA has determined that this threat poses a grave risk to the Federal Government and state, local, tribal, and territorial governments as well as critical infrastructure entities and other private sector organizations," the alert issued by the agency said. "CISA expects that removing this threat actor from compromised environments will be highly complex and challenging for organizations."The U.S. Energy Department is the latest government unit to announce they had systems compromised in the hack.The department says the impact of the hack appears to be “isolated to business networks” and "has not impacted the mission essential national security functions of the Department, including the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)," which manages the country’s stockpile of nuclear weapons.It’s not just government agencies, Microsoft is reporting in a blog post more than 40 customers around the world appear to have been targeted in the hack.The hack creates a fresh foreign policy problem for President Donald Trump in his final days in office.President Trump has not made public comments regarding the hack, or the government’s response to Russia or whoever may be responsible.
