Philadelphia Police have released 911 audio from an arrest at a local Starbucks that has prompted national outrage.The audio was uploaded to the Philadelphia Police's YouTube page on Tuesday. "Hi, I have two gentlemen in my cafe that are refusing to make a purchase or leave. I'm at the Starbucks at 18th and Spruce," a female caller tells at dispatch officer.The officer told the caller that police would be out "as soon as possible."The recording also included dispatches between officers. At one point, officers request "another unit along with a supervisor" for help dealing with a two men "causing a disturbance" at the coffee shop.Later, officers inform dispatch that they've made two arrests and are en route back to headquarters.Following the arrest, Starbucks would decline to press charges and the men would be released. The woman who called police was reportedly the manager of the store. She has "left the store" while Starbucks investigates the matter.Video of the arrest filmed by a customer at the shop has been shared thousands of times on social media and prompted a rebuke by the company's CEO. PALOMAR MOUNTAIN (CNS) - Due to overnight snowfall and current low temperatures, chains were being required today on Palomar Mountain, the California Highway Patrol said.Only vehicles with chains, or four-wheel drive snow-rated tires, will be allowed access, authorities said."The CHP and the San Diego Sheriff's Department will be patrolling the area to monitor trespassing and make sure the roadways are kept clear of parked vehicles," said Oceanside CHP Officer Mark Latulippe, who pointed out there are limited facilities on Palomar Mountain for food, restrooms and trash.Mountain visitors were being urged to respect the privacy of residents and private property.Officials also recommend using extra caution on slippery roads, reducing speed and increasing following distance due to compromised visibility in wintery conditions.The CHP also reminded visitors to Palomar Mountain to "practice good snow etiquette."That involves:Parking only where legally allowed, and not blocking roadway accessfor emergency vehicles. Vehicles blocking any part of the roadway may becited or towed.Avoiding trespassing onto private property. PINE VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) - A man suspected of smuggling drugs along Interstate 8 with his teenage son in the car was arrested Friday by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Pine Valley. The 62-year-old unidentified man drove a Honda Accord through the I-8 immigration checkpoint and triggered a Border Patrol canine response, agents said. A secondary inspection turned up anomalies with the car’s battery.Agents said they found four vaccuum-sealed bags that tested positive for characteristics of cocaine. The packages weighed 10 pounds and had a street value of more than 0,000, according to the Border Patrol. The man, a U.S. citizen, was taken into the custody of the Drug Enforcement Administration. His 15-year-old son was turned over to the custody of his aunt. 773

Parents of a Wisconsin teen demand change after their son took his own life. Quinten Espinoza and his family just moved to Glendale, Wisconsin from Ohio four months ago. He was an 8th grader at Glen Hills Middle School. The parents said they knew he was dealing with some bullying but never thought it would go as far as it did."He always said, I told the teachers, it's not a big deal. I'll go up. No, I'm okay, I got it taken care of,” said Espinoza’s mother Lara Furko. “Never showed any other signs of anything. So I never thought to pursue it any further. And now I'm at where I'm at today.”Furko saved some of the messages he received. About three weeks ago a female classmate wrote, “I hate you so much, I hope you die.” Espinoza responded, “I’m a human being just like you and if I do you will feel guilty. #StopBullying.”On Wednesday the principal of Glen Hills invited parents to a meeting to share concerns about Espinoza’s death. Espinoza’s family is questioning the school's response to his death. School leaders said it’s an ongoing investigation by police and the school district, and that there were no reports of bullying.  1183
