Three weeks into the 2019 racing season, both attendance and overall betting handle are down at Del Mar. The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club says attendance is down about 5 percent, and handle is down 14 percent compared to 2018. "We've got to prove to our racing fans that we're doing the safest things we can to keep these horses healthy," he said. (KGTV) -- A man was arrested in Mexico Thursday after authorities found six different suitcases and bags containing human remains in Tijuana, according to ABC 10News partner Televisa. Early Thursday morning, legs were discovered in a suitcase in front of the Tijuana Cultural Center. Around the same time, another suitcase with body parts was found in front of a pharmacy. A head was later found in a different location in Tijuana, Televisa reports. According to Televisa, more than 113 homicides have been reported in the last three weeks. So far this year, more than 1822 murders have taken place in Tijuana alone. 824

Three people are currently battling for custody of the remains of infamous cult leader Charles Manson, who died in Bakersfield, California late last year.Jason Freeman, who claims to be Manson's grandson; Michael Brunner, who claims to be Manson's son and oldest living relative;, and Michael Channels, who was Manson's penpal for 30 years have all made claims to Masons's remains.Manson was hospitalized at Mercy Hospital Downtown last November before he eventually died. His body has been in the possession of Kern County since. In January, it was decided the fate of his remains would be decided through Kern County Superior Court. At the last hearing on Jan. 31, both Manson's son's and grandson's attorneys hinted at possibly joining forces. There have been multiple court hearings over who can lay claim to Manson's body and another to determine who will end up with his estate. There will be two new headquarters for Amazon, with 25,000 people in each location.Amazon has not announced which two cities the headquarters will be in, but that information is expected later this week, according to?the Wall Street Journal.The HQ2 split will happen because of a lack of technology talent.It has been more than a year since the company sought proposals from cities desiring to be home to the headquarters. Amazon's current headquarters is in Seattle and has led to problematic traffic and increased housing costs.
