Welcome to CNN's fact check of the sixth Democratic presidential primary debate.Thursday's debate was hosted by PBS and Politico, and came a day after the House of Representatives impeached President Donald Trump. It also came the same day the House voted to approve Trump's US-Mexico-Canada Agreement.Just a month and a half before the Iowa caucuses, the three-hour debate offered candidates a chance to delve more deeply into their policy disagreements than they had in their five previous clashes.Only seven candidates met the party's thresholds for qualification this time: former Vice President Joe Biden, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and businessmen Andrew Yang and Tom Steyer.Klobuchar on Hillary Clinton margin of victoryKlobuchar said, "If you look at the poll[s], at the state that knows me best, and that is the state of Minnesota, it showed in the state that Hillary had her lowest margin of victory, it showed that I beat Donald Trump by 18 points."Facts First: She's basically right about the polls, but she's wrong about the 2016 election results. In 2016, Hillary Clinton barely defeated Donald Trump in Minnesota, winning by 1.6 percentage points. It was extremely close, but it wasn't her tightest margin of victory, as Klobuchar claimed. That state was New Hampshire, where Clinton 1421

While foot traffic at traditional indoor malls have seen a decline in the last decade, outlet malls are on the rise. According to the National Real Estate Investor, 6.8 million square feet of outlet store space has opened in the United States since 2015. On Wednesday, the Federal Trade Commission issued tips on shopping at outlet stores. One tip some might not realize is that often outlet stores sell items that are of lesser quality than at normal stores. According to the FTC, many outlets sell items not available in regular stores. While these items come at a discount, they might not be the same quality. "For example, a jacket might not be fully lined, the stripes on a shirt may not match up at the seams, a t-shirt may be made of a lighter-weight fabric, and shoes might be made with synthetic materials rather than real leather," the FTC said in its consumer tips. "If top quality is important, you may want to shop elsewhere. But if it’s the brand, style, or look that’s key, you may be in the right place."The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation shows the difference between items found at outlets versus items found in regular retailers. There are other opportunities to save money at outlets."Some outlet centers also offer shopper club memberships," the FTC said. "If you join, you’ll get information about sales, events, exclusive offers from merchants, and other perks. With some clubs, you can earn gift cards and other rewards at various 'spend levels.' Just be sure to read the fine print before you get to the checkout." 1554

We've all been there. The first-day-of-school jitters. For one Wisconsin student it started on the school bus, last week.Axel started 4K last week, which is a pre-kindergarten year for kids 4 and under in an elementary school setting. His mom, Amy Johnson, wanted to mark the occasion by taking a picture of him on the school bus.Instead of a smile, Johnson got tears and a red face."He was super excited to go, but when the bus came around corner he was really quiet," she told CNN. "The bus opened the door and I looked at him and he started crying."Johnson said she picked Axel up to seat him on the bus but he was clinging onto her. That's when the bus driver, Isabel Lane, comforted him by showing him an open seat right behind her."I told him, 'Buddy, you got this and will have so much fun,' " Johnson said.Lane told CNN that Johnson was trying to get off the bus, but Axel kept grabbing for her."I stuck my hand behind the seat as maybe something else to grab onto and he grabbed my hand," Lane said.Johnson said she got off the bus but turned around, still wanting her "perfect picture." That's when she captured the image. The Augusta Police Department posted the photo of the pair on 1206

WASHINGTON — The Senate has approved a bipartisan measure limiting President Donald Trump's authority to launch military operations against Iran. The resolution says Trump must seek approval from Congress before engaging in further military action against Iran. Supporters say the resolution is not about Trump or even the presidency, but instead is an important reassertion of congressional power to declare war. Trump has called the vote an attempt to embarrass him and would tie his hands. The Democratic-controlled House passed a separate, nonbinding war powers resolution last month. The House could take up the Senate resolution later this month. Two-thirds votes in the House and GOP-run Senate would be needed to override an expected Trump veto. 764
