Arizona officials have certified Joe Biden’s narrow victory over President Donald Trump in the state.Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs and Republican Gov. Doug Ducey defended the integrity of the election even as lawyers for Trump were across town Monday arguing, without evidence, to nine Republican lawmakers that the election was marred by fraud.Lawsuits and legal action taken by the Trump campaign did not go far in Arizona, in at least one instance, the lawyers dropped a case seeking a recount of Election Day ballots. ANDERSON, Ind. -- An armored truck spilled money on the interstate after it hit several potholes on I-69 early Saturday morning and crashed into a ditch. The crash happened near Anderson around 1 a.m. local time.The Garda armored delivery truck driver told the deputies with the Madison County Sheriff's Office that he hit several potholes which caused him to lose control of the vehicle and he overcorrected, hitting a guardrail and sliding into a ditch.The rolled several times before it landed on its side. Deputies say some money was on the road after the crash but most of it remained secured in the armored delivery vehicle.The driver and his passenger were treated for minor injuries on the scene.  The armored truck delivery company sent another truck to the scene to recover the money and the truck.  842

(AP) — Cal Fire alleges that fast food chain In-N-Out was responsible for a 2017 wildfire in rural Arroyo Grande, according to a lawsuit filed in San Luis Obispo Superior Court.The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports that Cal Fire claims the September 2017 wildfire was caused by a tractor mowing grass on In-N-Out property, saying it was covered in “dry annual grasses and scattered brush, which created a receptive bed of flammable vegetation.” The agency also claims the tractor was improperly maintained and the driver allowed the fire to spread.Cal Fire is seeking roughly .2 million from the burger chain to recoup costs.The fire burned about 245 acres (99 hectares) in four days. Once the surface is wet, let it stand for 10 minutes and then rinse, the press release says.In March, the EPA released a list of household products that kill the coronavirus. Amid the political gridlock in Washington, it’s one of the rare instances of a bill getting marshaled forward in a bipartisan fashion.It’s called “The Crisis Stabilization and Community Reentry Act of 2020,” which recently passed the U.S. Senate. At its core, it would help provide mental health services for people in the criminal justice system who don’t usually get it.“It tries to deal with a fundamental problem we have in this country, that too many people with mental illness end up in jails and prisons,” said Chuck Ingoglia, CEO of the National Council for Behavioral Health. “I've had the opportunity to go around the country and to talk to local sheriffs and they understand that people with mental illness don't belong in their facilities, don’t do well in their facilities.”In fact, from 2006 to 2016, in jails around the country, suicide was the leading single cause of death. Yet, the problem goes beyond prison walls.It can be a lonely road for inmates after they have served their time and are released back into the community. Part of what the bill hopes to address is what happens with their mental health since many of them report they don’t have health insurance to get their needed medication.About 80 percent of inmates released lack health insurance, and those that do have it, often wait an average of 48 days to get an appointment at a behavioral clinic.To fill in that gap, among other things, the bill would allocate million a year for five years towards programs that strengthen the link between law enforcement and community mental health providers.“Unfortunately, in many places, there is no alternative,” Ingoglia said. “This bill, these new grant programs that it's seeking to create, would try to give more options to communities.”It’s a bill whose future now lies in the hands of the U.S. House of Representatives. 1861
