ORLANDO, Fla. – Disney Cruise Line announced Friday that it’s suspending all of its departures through Feb. 28 as the United States experiences the worst spike in COVID-19 cases and deaths since the pandemic began.Disney said in a statement that sailings are canceled onboard the Disney Magic through Feb. 2, through Feb. 26 for Disney Wonder and Disney Dream, and through Feb. 27 for Disney Fantasy.“Our team at Disney Cruise Line remains focused on the health and well-being of our Guests and team members,” wrote Disney. “We are continuing to carefully review the guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are working toward resuming operations.”Guests booked on affected sailings who have paid their reservation in full will be offered the choice of a cruise credit to be used for a future sailing or a full refund. One person has been confirmed dead after a huge fire engulfed and destroyed an apartment building in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo early Tuesday, according to state-run news agency Agencia Brasil.The dramatic fire broke out on the fifth floor of the 26-story building, which collapsed in a fireball an hour and a half later, according to the Brazilian Civil Defense.Seven other buildings were evacuated in the surrounding area. The blaze started at 1:36 a.m., according to a Sao Paulo Fire Department spokesman.The building was owned by the federal government and had previously served as the headquarters of the Federal Police. At the time of the fire it was occupied by low-income families who were part of the Front for Fighting for Housing, a social organization that advocates for fair housing, Agencia Brasil reported. 834

On Friday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's list of hand sanitizer products to avoid grew to 101 entries.Based on FDA test results, these products have "concerningly low levels of ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol, which are active ingredients in hand sanitizer products," according to the department.The list includes those subpotent products, as well as those that may be contaminated with methanol. OROVILLE, Calif. (AP) — A 72-year-old man found dead in a vehicle and two other people discovered on a roadway were among the latest victims of the deadliest wildfire in California this year. The Butte County sheriff's office said DNA testing was used to positively identify 10 of 15 people killed last week in the North Complex fire burning northeast of San Francisco. The victims included three people whose bodies were found in or near a burned vehicle. Gov. Gavin Newsom said more than 17,000 firefighters are battling some 25 major fires that were sparked in the past month. The death toll stands at 25 with more than 38,000 people under evacuation statewide. 672

Oakland County Sheriff's deputies say an 11-year-old allegedly stole a rental car from a Pontiac, Michigan resident.Deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle as the caller said they may have left the keys in the ignition before the car went missing.An hour later, the victim called 911 to report that he observed a subject driving the rental car and had blocked it from moving in a parking space in an apartment complex. He told deputies that the suspect had fled from the stolen vehicle prior to their arrival.Deputies checked the area and located the suspect hiding near a railroad overpass. The suspect fled on foot and was apprehended by deputies and taken into custody.There was damaged observed on the rental car, police say.  759
