John Paul Stevens, a former Supreme Court Justice appointed by Gerald Ford, has died at the age of 99 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. According to a statement from the US Supreme Court, Stevens died from complications from a stroke. Stevens served on America's top court from 1975 through 2010. Stevens' 35-year term on the bench marked the third-longest in history. Alec Sprague, who lives in Jacksonville, said he went a Costco to buy a generator, and saw a man purchasing over 100 of them. Sprague said the man was buying the generators and food to send to the Bahamas. Kings Island will not open for Winterfest Monday night, due to concerns over inclement winter weather, according to a Tweet from the company. Ohio is in the midst of back to back winter storms.
