Nine months ago, they were surprised with a donation of 1,800 books, made by 10News employees and the Scripps Howard Foundation. Each child was able to select two books of their own, with the rest going to the library and classrooms. “Last year, I didn't like to read. But this year I love to read," said 7-year-old Diego.
