(CNN) -- President Donald Trump said Friday that athlete and activist Colin Kaepernick, a former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers who's now a free agent, should be allowed an opportunity to play again in the National Football League — but "only if he's good enough.""Frankly, I'd love to see Kaepernick come in — if he's good enough," the President told reporters at the White House on Friday. "But I don't want to see him come in because somebody thinks it's a good PR move. If he's good enough, he will be in."On Wednesday, Kaepernick posted a video on his Twitter account of him working out to show that he's ready to play again if given the chance.Trump added that he knows many of the NFL team owners."If he's good enough, they'd sign him," Trump said. "So if he's good enough, I know these people, they would sign him in a heartbeat. They will do anything they can to win games."Trump weighing in on Kaepernick's prospects in the NFL come after he has frequently derided Kaepernick for his role in sparking the movement during the 2016 NFL season of kneeling during the National Anthem to protest police brutality and racism. After Kaepernick's kneeling drew attention, the President called the demonstrations "unpatriotic" and used it to rally his base.He also called on the league to take punitive measures against Kaepernick and the protesting players.Kaepernick has not played in the NFL since the 2016 season. He opted out of his contract with the 49ers in 2017 and became a free agent, but no team offered him a contract. That October, Kaepernick filed a grievance against the league, accusing team owners of colluding to keep him from being signed. He settled his grievance case against the NFL in February. 1735

(CNN) -- Have your kids started kicking random bottles recently? If not, they may start soon, thanks to the latest viral internet challenge: the bottle cap challenge. Here's how it works: The cap is placed on top of the bottle and is loosely twisted shut. The goal is to untwist the cap with a spin kick, without moving the bottle itself. The video must be shot in slow-motion for effect, of course. The challenge started in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA), and those pros made it look easy.UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway did it and then challenged singer John Mayer, who surprised skeptics (like us) with a spin kick any MMA fighter would be proud of. 673
(KGTV) - A North County lawyer, once charged with possessing child pornography and secretly filming women at a local tanning salon, is allowed to practice law again.A woman who contacted Team 10 said several North County residents are concerned he could be back in the community working as an attorney. David Kaye faced two felonies and nine misdemeanors in early 2011. Investigators say he filmed women without their knowledge at an Escondido tanning salon. After a customer saw the recording device, police set up a sting operation and Kaye was arrested after an investigation that lasted several months.Kaye entered a plea deal and pleaded guilty to two counts of secretly filming a person and two counts of peeking through a hole or private area. He received three years of formal probation. His law license was suspended in 2014.In the last few months, he got his license back. In documents filed with the state bar court, it said Kaye petitioned five times for his suspension to be lifted. It cited a list of community service and other charitable work with no further arrests. When questioned about his license being reinstated, Kaye wrote to Team 10: “… I don’t practice at all and I am retired with no intention of practicing again.” He said he fought to get his law license reinstated because he “did not want to spend the rest of [his] life wearing the scarlet letter of being a suspended or disbarred attorney after 20 years of practice.” He added that he did everything he could to “follow the state bar requirements to resume [his] status as an attorney in good standing.” Kaye said he wants to move on with his life and spends most of his free time doing volunteer work. Team 10 reached out to the state bar for a comment, but they did not return any emails or phone calls. 1797
