Reports indicate that Toys R Us could be the next retailer to file for bankruptcy.The Wall Street Journal reports that the toy retailer could file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the next few weeks, just a few months out from the crucial holiday season.According to the Journal, the chain's suppliers are hesitant to ship new items before putting money down. The company is facing a debt of billion stemming from a leveraged buyout in 2005.Toys R Us has already received most of its holiday shipments, but could soon be prevented from receiving any additional toys before the shopping season begins.Toys R Us is just one of a number of retailers who have struggled as Americans have started doing more of their shopping online. President-elect Joe Biden formally introduced his picks for several high-ranking administration positions on Friday. Among them was former Obama-era UN ambassador Susan Rice to lead the White House Domestic Policy Council.Biden and vice president-elect Kamala Harris introduced the latest round of cabinet nominees in a press conference at Biden's transition headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.Rice served as President Barack Obama's U.N. ambassador during his first term, from 2009 to 2013. She later served as Obama's national security adviser in his second term, from 2013 to 2017.Rice is the type of experienced bureaucrat that Biden has been eyeing for a Cabinet-level position, but she also comes with some political baggage, considering her involvement in handling the aftermath of the Benghazi attacks in Libya in 2012. With, at most, a razor-thin majority in the Senate, Biden has opted to grant Rice a position that does not require confirmation.Biden also introduced Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, as his pick to run the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Fudge has served in Congress for five terms, representing the Cleveland area.On Friday, Biden also introduced Denis McDonough as his pick to run Veterans Affairs, Katherine Tai as his pick for U.S. Trade Representative and Tom Vilsack as Agriculture Secretary. 1349

Rap musician T.I. was not happy to hear that a Florida student was being denied a meal for being 15 cents short on the first day of school. Last week, T.I. announced he was going to pay for the student's school lunch bill, for the entire year. "This s--- is despicable!!!" T.I. tweeted. "This is the kinda s--- that deters kids from coming to school. I’d like to take care of her school lunch for the year. I hate to hear this type of thing happening to our children. Petty a-- peon a--, poor excuse for a grown person."Earlier this month, Kimberly Aiken told WKMG-TV in Orlando that her daughter, a sophomore at University High School in Orange City, Florida, was told that she owed 15 cents when she went through the lunch line. When she told the cashier that she didn't have any money on her, the cashier allegedly threw the food away.Aiken's daughter did not eat anything for the rest of the school day.According to CBS News, Aiken signed her daughter up for a free and reduced-cost lunch program at University High School. However, the program hadn't taken effect yet. Aiken suspects that the 15-cent deficit was carried over from last year.A spokesperson for the Volusia County Public Schools said the district has contacted the family directly about the issue. 1310
