After multiple news outlets projected that Democrats would take control of the House of Representatives, President Trump called House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi in a show of bipartisanship, CNN reports.Trump's call came just hours after White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders indicated to pool reporters Tuesday that Trump would not reach out to Pelosi (D-California)."I'm not sure why you would call Nancy Pelosi considering a lot of people in her own party have said they wouldn't support her," Sanders told pool reporters. "If Democrats win tonight, I think we need to wait and see who their speaker is."Trump attacked Pelosi repeatedly while stumping for Republican House candidates in the lead-up to the midterm elections.A number of Democrats have distanced themselves from Pelosi since 2016. Following the 2016 election, Pelosi faced a challenged from Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) for House Minority leader. 950

Amazon's sales outlook for the fourth quarter was the equivalent of a lump of coal in investors' stockings. Don't worry too much: Jeff Bezos could still deliver a holiday surprise.Shares of Amazon tumbled nearly 10% Friday because investors worried the company's holiday sales could be the worst in years.Amazon (AMZN) is the second-largest retailer in the country, trailing only Walmart (WMT) in annual sales. So a weaker holiday quarter for Amazon could be a bad sign for the overall economy. The Jeff Bezos-led company said Thursday it expected fourth quarter sales to be in a range of .5 billion and .5 billion. That's less than what was expected, and the .5 billion midpoint of this guidance is an increase of just 15% from a year ago.A sales jump of 15% may sound great, but it's pretty tepid for Amazon, which posted a revenue bump of 38% in last year's fourth quarter and increases of more than 20% in both the fourth quarters of 2015 and 2016.The last time Amazon reported a fourth quarter sales increase that was less than 20% was back in 2014, when revenue was up 14.6%. 1097
Adidas has voluntarily recalled kids’ swimwear products of the Infinitex 3-Stripe range due to the stripes coming off and them possibly leading to injuries.According to the company, they have received customer reports that the three stripes on the swimwear might come off unexpectedly when in contact with water, which pose a potential safety risk to children as the stripes might get caught on objects or other children outside or inside the water and become entangled, potentially leading to injuries. No injuries have been reported to date. The swimwear, worn by children up to and including the age of 14, were sold as part of the 2017 and 2018 collections in both, youth and adult sizes through adidas.com, Adidas retail stores and at authorized Adidas dealers globally. The affected swimwear products come in several color combinations, has the Adidas 3-stripes trademark grafted on both sides of the swimwear and has the words 'made in Tunisia' on the label. Additionally, one of the following serial numbers is printed on the inside of the products: 1115
