The China-Laos railway is the first overseas route that will connect Laos with the vast railway system in China, using Chinese technology, equipment and investment.

The summit is believed to be a historic event that will help strengthen China-Africa solidarity and usher China-Africa win-win cooperation and common development, Xi added.
"China was once called poor, but it is now a strong economy. We must establish new measures to inject vibrancy in the already dynamic relationship between China and African countries," Mugabe told delegates attending the FOCAC summit.
The visit will help enhance mutual political trust, strengthen friendship between the two peoples, enhance pragmatic cooperation in various fields, as well as properly manage and control differences, so as to push forward the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, the ambassador said.
