ST. LOUIS (AP) — The Cardinals' game Friday against the Chicago Cubs was postponed after another St. Louis player tested positive for COVID-19. In a press release, Major League Baseball said the game was postponed to allow more time for additional testing and to complete the contact tracing process. The Cardinals have been off since last week when two players returned positive coronavirus tests. SRINAGAR, India (AP) — A border clash high in the Himalayas between the world’s two most populated countries has claimed the lives of 20 Indian soldiers.It was the first deadly violence between China and India since the two nuclear armed neighbors faced off in a border dispute 45 year ago.Indian officials say the troops fought each other with fists and rocks along the high-altitude terrain before the two sides “disengaged” from the area where the fighting happened.Along with those killed, India said that about 17 of its soldiers were also critically injured. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Tuesday he would appoint a bipartisan committee to make recommendations for how to commemorate the memory of Sen. Sixteen Idaho residents have been indicted on charges stemming from two federal investigations –- one, involving the large-scale manufacturing and sale of counterfeit cell phones, and the other, a cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine ring, according to a Thursday morning announcement by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.On Wednesday, federal agents and municipal police raided 12 homes, one warehouse, one business and a church in relation to the counterfeit phone investigation.At a press conference in Boise, U.S. Attorney Bart Davis said the fake phones involved the multi-million-dollar counterfeit scheme were manufactured in Hong Kong, then repackaged and distributed from the Boise area.
