for their roles in a conspiracy to bring large amounts of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana from California to the Cleveland area to sell.Teams of law enforcement officers hit the streets early Tuesday morning across Northeast Ohio.According to the indictment, the drugs were sent to Ohio from California via domestic shipping."At a time when a record number of our neighbors were dying from drug overdoses, this organization allegedly brought in large amounts of fentanyl, heroin and cocaine from California and sold it all over Northeast Ohio," U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman said. "Some members of the conspiracy used rifles and other firearms to protect their products while others laundered tens of thousands of dollars in drug money.""Illegal drug activity brings danger to our communities — it will not be tolerated," said FBI Special Agent in Charge Eric B. Smith. "Collaborative law enforcement efforts will continue to identify and disrupt drug trafficking organizations bringing violence to our streets."The case was investigated by the Northern Ohio Law Enforcement Task Force (NOLETF) and SouthEast Area Law Enforcement Narcotics Task Force, a collaboration of suburban northeast Ohio police departments. The NOLETF is a long-standing multi-agency task force comprised of investigators from the FBI, DEA, IRS , U.S. Coast Guard Investigative Service, and a dozen law enforcement agencies in northeast Ohio. The NOLETF is also one of the initial Ohio High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) initiatives. after allegedly making a 4-year-old sit on the toilet for about five hours, and spanking him every hour during potty training. The alleged incident happened on Tuesday. 23-year-old Gregory Bush allegedly confessed on Wednesday.Deputies say Bush made the 4-year-old sit on the toilet for five hours as he potty trained him, and that he came into the bathroom and spanked him every hour if he didn't use the bathroom. He told deputies he used a plastic spoon to spank the victim.Deputies say the child had injuries and bruising on his whole buttock and upper thigh and hip area. His live-in girlfriend allegedly knew about the abuse and said she allowed him to do it and was ok with using the spoon for discipline. Tiffany Seaman, 31, said she left the disciplining to her boyfriend because she was busy with work. She claims she was not home when some of the disciplining happened and that she did not notice the serious bruising on the child. She was charged with child neglect for not providing the child with the care and supervision necessary to maintain the child's physical and mental health along with failure to make an effort to protect the child from abuse. This story was originally published by 1202

according to a hospital spokesperson. The masks were sold to Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. Bergen County, where the hospital is located, is the county in New Jersey with the most COVID-19 cases.N95 masks are regulated by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, the spokesperson said. But Holy Name couldn't verify NIOSH certification for this particular batch of masks.Clinicians test supplies at the hospital before they're distributed. They found that the batch of masks would not have adequately protected workers. The hospital sent the masks back to the vendor, though, and later received a new shipment of certified masks. The supply of N95 masks has become a key issue for medical officials and elected officials, with many urging civilians to save them for healthcare workers that are in desperate need of them. This story was originally published by Corey Crockett and Aliza Chasan on 911
