MOSCOW, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin on Wednesday, pledging to work with Moscow to promote regional cooperation for steady progress.
"Here (the Mediterranean) is the key juncture of the infrastructures along the Belt and Road. The Mediterranean's position is unique and of strategic importance, at the crossroads of land Silk Road and maritime Silk Road," he said.
He also referred to Chinese investments in Jordan including a 1.5 billion U.S. dollars oil shale power plant as well as a Chinese shopping mall which will be opened soon in Amman.
China is also willing to help develop the Kyaukphyu Special Economic Zone to boost the region's economy, he added.
"The maiden flight makes China among the few countries capable of developing a large amphibious aircraft," said Huang Lingcai, chief designer of AG600.
