(KGTV) -- Southern California businesses have come out in force to help those forced to evacuate due to the Holy Fire.Some places are even being forced to turn away donations because they’ve received too many.Thursday, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station posted a message on Facebook asking the community to stop donating. (KGTV) - Uber is expanding its role as a common ride-sharing platform into the healthcare sector in its release of "Uber Health," the company announced Thursday.Uber Health partners with healthcare organizations and is designed to provide rides for patients, caregivers, and staff. The primary aim is to serve patients, though, as access is available without a smartphone."Riders don’t need the Uber app, or even a smartphone, to get a ride with Uber Health because it’s all done through text message. (KGTV) -- Tuesday, SpaceX launchged several satellites into orbit that will replace a satellite network and monitor climate change. The Iridium-6/GRACE-FO satellites were launched just before 1 p.m. from Vandenberg Air Force Base. For this particular mission, SpaceX launched five Iridium NEXT satellites as part of the company's campaign to replace the world's largest commercial satellite network. A total of eight Iridium NEXT launches are planned with the company that will send into orbit 75 new satellites. Also on board the Falcon 9 rocket will be satellites that will monitor the movement of earth's mass for NASA and the German Research Centre for Geosciences.Watch the launch in the player below:  775

(KGTV) — Saturday, California reported that the San Joaquin Valley region, which includes 12 counties, ran out of space in its ICUs as COVID-19 cases climb.The state's website says the region, which has been under the new regional stay-at-home, has hit 0% ICU capacity. The region includes Calaveras, Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, San Benito, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tulare, and Tuolumne counties.The region's capacity sat at 4.5% a day earlier.Last week, the San Joaquin Valley and Southern California regions were placed under the state's stay-at-home order for falling under 15% ICU capacity.The Southern California region, which includes San Diego, Imperial, Inyo, Los Angeles, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties, was at 5.3% ICU capacity on Saturday. Three of the state's five regions were under the 15% threshold.Bay Area: 17.6%Greater Sacramento Region: 12.7%Northern California: 27.4%San Joaquin Valley: 0.0%Southern California: 5.3%The state had an overall 7.9% ICU capacity as of Saturday.California's new public health order intends to cut down on the surging number of coronavirus cases throughout the state, which will hopefully lead to lower ICU numbers for regions. 1265
