The Hubbard Avenue Diner just outside Madison, Wisconsin announced on their Facebook page that they will soon be serving 'Pie Tacos.'The restaurant, which was been working on the tacos for a while, will start selling them April 12th and will feature four flavors: Apple, Cherry, French Silk and Key Lime.All four versions of the taco will be baked in a pie crust shell and will be served in a traditional taco rack like you'd see at Bel Air Cantina in Milwaukee.Along with the fillings, the Apple Pie will be covered with a streusel topping, the Cherry will have a sugared "lattice" crust on top, the French Silk is topped with whipped cream and chocolate flakes, and the Key Lime is topped with whipped cream and lime zest.Fans of the restaurant certainly seem excited about the idea."Get one? The lake in California, where former "Glee" star Naya Rivera tragically drowned in July, has reopened and banned swimming.The Lake Piru Recreational Area reopened on Aug. 20, according to the park's Facebook page.The park had been closed since July 9, since the actress first went missing.The park continued to stay close due to the coronavirus pandemic and the wildfires ravaging California.Still, residents told TMZ that they believe the park's restrictions somehow related to Rivera drowning in the Ventura County lake.Since reopening, the park has put precautions, including a swimming ban, the park's website stated.The park says shore fishing, personal watercraft, and boating activities are permitted.Rivera went missing on July 8 while boating with her 4-year-old son at the lake. Ventura County Sheriff's Office said Rivera rented a boat at the lake and excursed her son.Authorities were alerted when other boaters later found Rivera's boat drifting in the northern portion of the lake with her son sleeping onboard.Rivera's body was found on July 13.At the time, Sheriff Bill Ayub said Rivera and her son were swimming when the actress began to get tired. He thinks Rivera mustered enough energy to get her son on the boat but couldn't climb back in herself.Investigators believe Rivera drowned in what appears to be a "tragic accident," the office wrote in a press release.On July 14, an autopsy by the Ventura County Medical Examiner revealed Rivera's death as drowning.Her death certificate, which was obtained by People and The Blast, said the actress died within a "manner of minutes."After Rivera's death, a petition on Change.org was created urging park officials to put signs up warning swimmers of how dangerous the lake was.According to the Los Angeles Times, seven people have drowned in the lake between 1994 and 2000. 1848

The investigation into the Uber crash that killed a Phoenix?homeless woman is still in its early stages.  But preliminary reports from Tempe police show the victim, Elaine Herzberg, 49, was jaywalking when the self-driving car hit her on Mill Avenue near Curry Road Sunday night.However, it raises an important question. Who is responsible if there is a law broken by one of these robotic vehicles?Phoenix attorney James Arrowood studies driverless car technology and the law. He also teaches a course on driverless cars to other attorneys in for The State Bar of AZ.He said, unfortunately, this was bound to happen because technology isn't foolproof.  "The good news out of this particular tragedy is we will have more information than we have ever had in an auto accident," Arrowood said. "We'll have sensors and cameras (data)."But when it comes to liability, Arrowood said Governor Doug Ducey's executive order requires driverless cars to follow the same rules of the road as any driver in Arizona, plus more."It specifies that if a company operates an autonomous vehicle, it has to comply with all of the traffic safety laws, in addition to extra parameters for autonomous vehicles," Arrowood said.That means "no driver" does not mean "no fine.""So if one of the (Uber) autonomous vehicles were to be speeding, then Uber would get a ticket for speeding," Arrowood said.Arrowood says where it gets cloudy is the civil liability. Under normal circumstances in a traffic crash, a plaintiff could go after a driver, the carmaker and maybe a company like the tire manufacturer if there was a blowout, for example."You had a limited universe," Arrowood said. "Now with autonomous vehicles, we don't know how deep that universe goes. For instance, could the municipality, could the government have some responsibility for permitting those cars on the road or for not having sensors in place?"Arrowood said although the Tempe crash is a tragedy, the public has to remember the technology isn't perfect or magical, and it's virtually impossible to avoid every collision.
